This eventuality was only a matter of time this season.

Anyone who thought this team wasn't going to tank on Smart to ensure he got the boot early on this year, was fooling themselves with false hope.

I called this a long time ago - which was the main reason why I was so hard advocating for a real, proven head coach to be hired over the summer - so they wouldn't be scrambling mid-season to replace Smart, once the team tires of his BS.

Noone on this coaching squad is remotely qualified to be a head coach in the NBA.

They NEED to bring in a veteran, proven coach that can instill an offensive and defensive scheme - and fat chance of that happening mid-season.

no real coach would get near this team during the year, just go with english for now, then take whatever crums the goofs can scramble together and throw them at the van gundy boys or nate mcmillan

Agreed. Not sure you get one to this mess at this point in the season, but there isn't anyone on the bench that I think has the right ability or personality.

Be realistic. We aren't going to get a veteran proven coach. At this point, an assistant coach like Alex English would be a VAST ADVANTAGE over what we're currently watching.
