Consider the circumstances, from top to bottom. I'm not even allowed to talk about why Smart doesn't play Jimmer on this board, so I digress.

It's the way you talk about Jimmer. I think Jimmer is shooting like he did in college which was spectacular. Jimmer is not going to be a super star because of other deficiencies.

He needs to be discussed but let's be realistic as to what he can offer. With the guards that we have, I see all kinds of problems finding minutes for him. IT = Brooks and Jimmer = MT as to when they could be used. As Jimmer is nowhere near as NBA ready as MT, we may not see much of him. I am surprised we see much of IT. A guard rotation of Brooks/Tyreke/Thornton seems just fine.

I must admit he is a hoot to watch when that jump shot is on. It's exciting and hence, Jimmermania.

I believe Jimmer is a better scorer and creator than MT, including creating for others. Most importantly, Jimmer is a better passer and creator. Jimmer's better than MT but he isn't getting his opportunity just yet, but he will. MT is an excellent 6th man, though.

I'm just going to highlight more silliness. I remmeber a couple of years ago when we had Sergio Rodriguez pass though here and put up hot numbers in short minutes off the bench. Parlayed it into a nice career in Spain.

Depends on to whom you're referring when you use "we"... The fans who are here because Fredette signed with the Kings won't stop, and that's pretty much the extent of the Jimmermania around here.
