I love Spud and all but are you really saying he's the 5th best King in Sacramento history? Bibby was better than Jason Williams and Peja was definitely better than Spud.

Well, if I had to put a team together, I'd have Reggie Theus at PG, Mitch Richmond at SG, Peja at SF, C. Webb at PF, and Vlade at Center. My second team would be Mike Bibby at PG, Mike Woodson at SG, Eddie Johnson at SF, Otis Thorpe at PF, and Tank Thompson at Center.

Exact same except Boogie at center on first team, Vlade goes to second team. And Tyreke is PG instead of Theus, who goes to second team. Theus didn't play defense.

Agreed, in a year or two I may put Boogie in as Center. I just want him to have a little more time.

1. Mike Bibby - became the biggest Bibby fan when he was a King. Remember 2002 WCF game 5 like it just happened. Best Kings game I have ever seen, PERIOD. And I was there...
2. Peja Stojakovic - had one of the best long distance shots i have ever seen
3. Bobby Jackson - can't go wrong with the energizer bunny off the bench...
4. Doug Christie - DEFENSE!
5. Vlade Divac - Biggest heart I have seen in a Kings' uniform

Honorable Mention:

Webber - Can't forget about un4gettable...
Pollard - actually liked the energy he produced off the bench. Was never a good scorer but the dude had some serious energy
Jon Barry - see Bobby Jackson, but on a far lesser scale...
Mitch Richmond - Again, can't go wrong with "The Rock"

Me, too. Doug Christie would tempt me also. Not because he was a star but because he was one of the best role players we have had. Of course it's nice to be on a team with Peja, Chris, Vlade and Bibby.

Our original team had three future NBA head coaches, and three years later we had two on the same team, Ainge and Del Negro. Our last three were on different teams that came later - Randy Wittman, Cut Rambis, and Ty corbin.

To preface these lists, with the exception of my personal favorites, I didn't consider players that have less than 5 years experience. While some of these players didn't have long careers, at the very least, they had to contribute a couple of solid, if not stellar, seasons for the Kings. Lastly, extra weight was given to players that produced on both ends of the court and/or were multidimensional offensively.

1- Chris Webber
2- Mitch Richmond
3- Reggie Theus
4- Otis Thorpe
5- Ron Artest

Honorable Mention: Mike Bibby, Doug Christie, Vlade Divac, Brian Grant, Bobby Jackson, Kevin Martin, Rodney McCray, Brad Miller, Lionel Simmons, Peja Stojakovic, Wayman Tisdale, Spud Webb, Corliss Williamson
