I'll be honest. At this point, I'm not turning in to see if the Kings win. I'm tuning in to see Demarcus Cousins. One of these nights - and it's gonna be soon - he's going to have a game so complete and so impressive that he'll be the entire focus of every sports segment around, and not just Sacramento channels.

All the indications are there and what we've seen thus far is just a tease. To paraphrase Brickie, "Let loose the Boogiemonster!"

GO KINGS!!

Nah, it's a phrase I used a month ago: "Feed the Beast!"

He's the only reason I watch now, also. As IT seems to pass only to Cuz, he'll do OK.

Whether it's fair or not, Cousins is not going to get the respect he deserves, nationally, until either there is a paradigm shift from the belief that "there are no great centers on bad teams," or until the Kings start winning, whichever comes first.

In either case, Go Kings! Long overdue for win #20!

Cousins needs to be much more efficient to garner the national attention and make the Kings the winners that he has the potential to.

Aghgh!! I'm gonna have to switch between my Kings and my Redwings playoff game! This sucks...
I am always of the opinion that playoffs games in any sport should trump non-playoff games in any sport, and I don't even like any sport except basketball.

This opinion tends to get me into heated arguments, on occasion, as it leads me to maintain that, say, playoff NHL games (sport I don't like) should trump regular season NBA games (sport I like), or that the World Series (sport I am, at best, indifferent to) should trump preseason NBA games, but also leads me to maintain that, say, the WNBA Finals (sport I like) should trump Week 4 (or whatever it is) NFL or college football games (sport I don't like), which is never an opinion that's popular.

Postseason should trump regular season, at all times, in my opinion.

That was, at least in theory, exactly want the offense to look like: Evans and Cousins working the two-man game. But that... was not good, successful field foal attempt notwithstanding.

Does that apply for table tennis championships in Dubai?

Again, are the Curling Championships on TV in the US? I imagine that they would take precedence in Alberta, but I don't live in Alberta...
As a matter of fact, they were. Think it was one of the lesser ESPN channels. I think I mentioned it in the game thread at the time. :p

With Cuz getting two quick fouls, I believe I'll check out curling which is a big sport from where I'm from. Make fun you warm weather pussies. :)

Random thought #1: It looks like the ushers, security and food service personnel outnumber the fans in New Orleans.

Random thought #2: Apparently Thornton is going to be the Grant/Jerry "player of the night" for the Kings tonight. Sorry, but all the gushing and hyperbole has gone beyond the point of nauseation. Of course, it's not their fault. Jim Gray stole Isaiah.

Random thought #3: I stubbed my toe last night really badly and might lose the nail. For some reason, I blame the Maloofs.

Well, Chicago not generally considered "warm weather" territory by anyone living south of Toronto, but curling doesn't have a whole lot of traction there.

It's ridiculous how well Reke sets everyone else up and yet he's not seen as a PG. Replace Rondo with him on the Celtics and he no one would dare say anything.
