[Game] Kings @ Wolves

I hate to call out the refs, because, well we're playing garbage too, but how many free throws have they had on minimal contact.

they must have had 20 odd.

I don't understand how someone can grab an offensive board, shove the other player out of the way, and have a foul called for them. Cousins and Thompson can't even play defense without getting a foul called. Pekovic looks like a damn all-star

1) Have the Kings EVER won a game whe Joey Crawford is reffing?

2) How the **** was that 3rd foul on DMC?
He literally stood still with his hands down in perfect position while the guy shot over him. And the Kings broadcasting crew didn't notice, or even remark on it!

2nd and 3rd fouls were BS. I commend Cousins for not picking up a T. Actually, Smart probably should have on his behalf.

Seems to be a different set of rules for Cousins from game to game.

Thornton will basically keep shooting his threes until his eye is in, even if it means us going down by 25.

If he's hitting, great, if not, we're in trouble.

not a great half of ball, but we've been handcuffed by awful reffing IMO, having DMC and Jason off the court + I.T in foul trouble for touch fouls.

Would be nice if we didn't have to crawl out of a huge hole every night. Even worse, it's just terrible terrible play instead of the usual missed shots.

My problem with Thornton is we're regularly seeing him not contribute elsewhere. Also settles for jumpers far too much. Not attacking, rebounding, creating or playing even average defense. So when he's off, we're getting nothing....

Why I still se him as a 6th man, just not on this team with its current roster. But a streaky shooter who does little else?

I didn't see the first 2 fouls, but if that's the case, than Smart is screwing up not going after the refs for this debacle.
That 3rd foul should be sent to the league - I'm not kidding - it was THAT absurd.

If Smart is gonna take this a$$-raping by the refs silently, than he doesn't understand what makes the NBA go around.

It'd be nice if Grant or Jerry would even say one word about it, too.

Thornton isn't enough of a distributor, he doesn't drive and dish, he hovers on the baseline too much with the ball, he won't even pass if it's 2 on 1 on a fast break.

but, i guess scoring is his game.

getting nothing out of Salmons, Hickson had a couple of good makes but he kills the offensive flow with his back to the basket play from 2 miles away, every time Hickson is on the court the shot clock becomes an issue.

I'm watching the Minn broadcast, but the 2nd foul was terrible. Even the Minn crew said that's a tough one to take. Didn't see a replay on it however. Then Cousins gets a 3rd for basically backing off with his hands down. 1st foul was legit and easy to call. What makes it worse is all the other no calls which twice the contact.

rubio's length is really bothering tyreke. They don't really have a shotblocker so he should attack in the second half. The third foul on Cousins was complete garbage, he literally stood there with his hands down. Thornton needs to stop chucking long shots, but to be fair no one else was being agressive.

The first foul on Cousins was your classic tone setter, i think it was the maybe the second shot of the game, definite contact foul. But we've had 3 or 4 drives with significant contact that has left people on the ground go uncalled.

Rubio has been all over reke.

I don't mind a strict game.... at both ends. but, yeah consistency please.

A starting sg, if not hitting from outside should be able to help elsewhere. Right now Thornton isn't, for whatever the reason. He might have the talent to do so, but is choosing not to. Or simply, he can't. But if your shot isn't on, how are you going to help us? He needs to answer that question.
