Man, I'm gonna take a lot of heat for this one. But here is my prophesy for tonight...
The Kings lose by 20-25 points. Our "go to" guys (Reke, DMC, and to a much lesser extend, MT) have had some pretty good games as of late. Unfortunately, I think this may lead to them making a return to their selfish, "I must carry this team" style of ball tonight. Salmons - who also managed to have a half decent game for once - will be out of control, thinking that he "has it back" (something he never really had to begin with but...).
Remember the sloppy, no offense, no offensive plays, no hustling back on defense Kings that we saw earlier this year? I think it will return at least one more time tonight to rear it's ugly head.
BUT - I think it will serve as a major wakeup call for the team, and that after tonight they will finally come to the realization that they play pretty well when they play together as a team.
Let the hate commence!
EDIT: Heck, while I'm at it, might as well go all out with my predictions. Feel free to add your own so you can hound me even harder if Kings end up playing a good game:
Salmons: 6 pts, 2-8 fg, 2 TO, 1 ast
Cousins: 13 points, 5-10 fg, 2 TO, 2 ast
Evans: 16 points, 6-17 fg, 3 TO, 4 ast
Thornton: 13 points, 5-15 fg, 4 TO, 2 ast
Hickson: 5 points, 2-4 fg, 0 TO, 0 ast
BENCH:
Thompson: 6 points, 2-6 fg, 1 TO, 1 ast
Fredette: 6 points, 2-5 fg, 1 TO, 2 ast
Thomas: 4 points, 2-3 fg, 0 TO, 1 ast
Green: 7 points, 3-4 fg, 2 TO, 1 ast
Garcia: 4 points, 1-3 fg, 1 TO, 1 ast
