Keith Smart to make lineup changes

#91
Some KF's, I swear - do you guys think Sloan was able to coax playoff teams out of bench players and untested inexperienced youths because he had "buy-in from the Jazz office"?
As if the Jazz office somehow made those players run his system until it ground the other teams into submission in the 4th quarter through effort and sheer persistence?
His Jazz teams were the demons on the NBA - NOONE wanted to play them, because it hurt to play them.
Perhaps you misunderstand. Sloan is not going to come to Sacramento when the dysfunction in the organization is so pervasive. Can Sloan win in this league with a team that the Maloofs can afford?

Yes.

Also, he won't come. He is an old man that could still be coaching in Utah with an organization he knows and loves if he wanted to coach.

When quoting someone, hit the "reply w/ quote" button under their post on the right.

That way we know who you're quoting and replying to.

If Isaiah goes back to the end of the bench again like the last time after he sparked the team to a win, I'm going to be pissed. More Isaiah, less Jimmer.

pg: Thomas
sg: Tyreke
sf: Garcia
pf: Thomspon/Hayes(when he comes back)
c: Cousins

is the most balanced starting lineup we can field, Thornton off the bench would be 6th man of the year material for the next 10 years, theres nothing wrong with being a lamar odom or jason terry or jamal crawford. please trade salmons.

"TeachMeHowtoJimmer?!" How about "Teach Me How to SHOOT!" Get it together Jimmer. Like Coach Smart said, don't try to be something you're not (ie a PG). Just go out there and do what you do best

On the other hand, every shot in the lane that Jimmer took, Cuz got the rebound, partially because the opponents always over-play Jimmer's penetrations.

If Jimmer went 0-15 next game, I'll betcha Cuz would have 12 more rebounds, easy. LOL

All thats true for sure! Big Cousins snared almost every Jimmer miss:) This game was amazing in that the Kings won with defense and rebounding. The fellas eeked out a win from an ugly offensive performance.

A win is a win baby!

I'd actually prefer a lineup of:

PG Evans
SG Garcia
SF Greene
PF Thompson (Hayes when he returns)
C Cousins

for the size and defense. But I could definitely live with what you proposed. Either way I think we're seeing that Thomas is earning minutes and Salmons should be losing them. I have been against bringing Thornton off the bench, but this team needs some defense, hustle and especially ball movement to start games.

I also like this now that Garcia is showing he can still play decently. Either Thornton or Garcia at the 2 is fine with me. We just have to stay away playing small ball early on the game and we must play small ball only for short periods of time.

Is that a threat, tough guy? lol. Punk ***** better hide behind a monitor and threaten people. You can't fire me, mr. big boy pants; I quit!
Rightly or wrongly I have assumed that Jimmer fanboys are LDS. No Mormon I know would talk publicly like this. Which is what makes this post the bestest ever.
