That was true a couple seasons ago, but since joining the Heat it seems like Bosh is underrated these days. Dude KILLED Boozer tonight. But luckily Bulls still won!


Not that I'm a Bosh homer or anything. Heck, a year or so ago when there was that "trade for Bosh" thread going... I didnt want to give up JT for him (and that is why I'm not a GM :p )

did he now? i didn't see the game but alot of pressure is on the front court players when you have to watch out for lebron or wade.

I'm getting a little giddy waiting for the lottery. The last couple of years I really got my hopes up but this time I just have this gut feeling that we're getting lucky.

Oh and sactownkid, that was hilarious.

I remember back 2 years ago, when the Kings had the worst record in the league, and people were trotting out statistics like "when you combine the statistics, actually 3rd 4th or 5th place teams have more (?) of a chance to get the 1st pick than the worst record team".
I can't find those statistics with a search.

So we can get 1,2,3,5,6,7, or 8? At what point will we know if we're in the top 3? I need to know what to root for!

The half-hour lottery show will be at 5:30 PDT, 8:30 EDT on ESPN. One hour earlier, there will be a one-hour NBA Countdown program, which may include some coverage of the pre-lottery events but will also include previews of the Mavs/Thunder game which starts after the lottery, etc.

If we are in fact in the top three, we most likely will not know until the #5 pick is announced. If the #5 pick is announced, and we haven't been called yet, we're top three. Additionally, if we haven't been called yet and the Wizards go at #7, or the Raptors go at #6, then we're in.

It can actually get pretty complicated. Just basically root for everybody to get their exact position up through #9, then root for "not Kings" 8-5. :)

I didn't know it was down to a science. ;) Very good. I'll sleep until #9 and then shake out the cob webs and get nervous.
