If we, meaining the people of Sac, can't get an arena over a 14 yr period with an nba team in town, how will we pay for a pro fanchise(similar to cost of an arena, GS sold for $450M), and an new arena on top of it? Makes no sense.
If we can't come up with $200M to help the Maloofs with an arena, how will we come up with $700-900M for a team plus an arena?
It wouldn't even make sense for the city to try to get a new team, because they have shown they'll do what is needed to keep the team in the first place. Remember, the city didn't even pay for an arena when the Kings first came to town, it was privately funded.
