The life of a fan I suppose. No point in trying to knock a brick wall down with a hammer when it clearly isn't going to do much damage in the first place.
"The greatest journey begins with a simple step."

Unless you prefer the book of Homer:

"Aim low. Aim so low, that even if you succeed, you will be disappointed."

"You tried your best and you failed miserably. The lesson is: never try."

There's every point in the world to try and do something. At least if you failed, you failed knowing that you tried to make a difference.

Is that what this all comes down to? Morale?

Well, it wasn't until the big corporation was going to buy that crazy little UHF station that all the townspeople ended up buying a share in the station to keep it public. It's not about morale, or bravado. It's about getting off your butt and doing something. If you don't want to do anything, that's fine, no one is blaming you for that, but at least move out of the way while the rest of the people here try to do something.

Then, when they're gone, if they're gone, you can come back and do the "I told you so" bit. Let the good townspeople try. It's about time they got involved.

Oh, and I loves me a good twinkie-weiner sandwich.

Looking forward to seeing a rowdy, sellout crowd. I'm bringing three friends.

A while ago, an account representative sent me a link & code that removes all those nasty Ticketmaster charges. PM me for a link if you don't have it already. Looking forward to seeing every seat filled!

Side note: if the Maloofs call a press conference on March 1st, should we encourage local media (who will be jobless thanks to relocation) to bring rotten fruit and vegetables in case bad news is announced? I mean seriously, when was the last time that happened in the real world?

I got tickets.. But if they file before the 28th I am either;

A) not going
B) going, but will probably be kicked out when I try to voice my opinion

Not that I have anything against keeping the Kings in Sacramento, but at this point I think most people are going to regret buying extra tickets when the Maloofs announce they are moving(I hope I am very wrong on this though).:(

Thy may damn well have to kick out the entire arena.
If it does happen in this fashion, it will be a very sad end to the final chapter in the relationship of the Maloofs(as well as the 26 years of history the team had here as well) and us Kings fans in Sacramento...just sad. :( It won't be the Maloofs fault, it's the city's for being lazy cheapskates!

just got done checkin ticket prices for a friend and

is it me or did the Maloofs jack up the prices? $51(including service charge) for upper level last row in the corner??

Im not to sure what the prices are normally like but for $51 you couldnt even go to 9 games for what my season tickets cost me ($440)

Single game ticket costs vary from game to game now. Depends, in part, on the opponent and how big a draw the opponent is.
