No thanks. Injuries, and he's not a great complement to Cousins.

We need more quickness in the backcourt. Beaubois would be nice, or someone like him.

Just scanned a few posts in the thread. Has anyone mentioned the fact that Bynum is an overpaid, worthless piece of trash player? Com'n, the guy is HORRIBLE and vastly overrated by his bandwagoning fanbase.

how good would he be if he wasn't playing next to pau & kobe who demand alot of attention? all he needs to focus on is grabbing boards, put backs and the occasional hook shot.

Not very good at all. He'd look more overpaid and trashy than he is. He would get a random double team and turn the ball over because he has poor footwork, is a sub-par passer and not nearly worth his contract for what he provides. He's the Lakers problem going forward. I wouldn't bail them out at all here.

So in other words, he's Carl Landry except 4 inches taller?

If you really wanna bring on a young injury prone big I'd rather we sign Oden for cheap. Oden would be much less expensive, we wouldnt have to give up any pieces via trade and he wont make the locker room stink of Faker

Stop making so much sense, Wiley. It's getting a little ridiculous.

Bynum is pretty good you guys.

Prior to the Pau trade he was beastin it for the Lakers. He is a massive, athletic, 2 way bigman.

That being said, he is very injury prone, does have that big contract and wouldnt really be a good pairing with DMC, so nay.

Its possible that this whole Bynum for Melo trade could have been generated by the Nuggets in order to put a little pressure on the Knicks. Its obvious that Dolan wants Melo on the Knicks and the idea of him losing to the Lakers would probably make him vomit.

Possibly, but I just found this on hoopshype. You can take it for what it's worth. Although still cannot understand why DEN would take back an injury prone, albeit a very talented, C with a big contract. Nor can I see them trying to deal Melo within the conference and in particular to LA. Even if it did mean dumping Harrington's contract.

Frank Isola: Sources say that Jim Buss recently rejected a Bynum for Carmelo deal, much to the dismay of Kobe and Phil Twitter
