The NBA Finals 2010: Celtics vs Lakers

I hope we get back to the playoffs soon enough to drop kick Kobes *** right out of contention. And i almost puked when Buss and Jackson said they have the best fans... more like the worst. All in all though... the Lakers won fair and square in a decently reffed game. I still hate them with every cell in my body.
Well, that was disappointing. 
Yes, its disappointing because the Cs had it so close. They DESEREVED to win because they played a great game and laid everything on the line without their starting center.
But honestly I can care less if the lakers win or not. Its not the Kings playing in the finals.
The one bright spot of the game was kobe staying true to his history. Choking when it counts the most. Sure sure I know the media will help kobe by keep mentioning the 15 rebs etc. But can you really be non existant the entire game and shoot 6 for 24 and not be considered as a choker? If someone like Dirk went 6/24, I'm sure he would be called choker even if he had 15 rebs. At no point was kobe able to do anything offensively other than hitting some free throws.
Kobe had by far the worst performance I've ever seen in a game 7 of anything. I think Adam Morrison is more deserving of the Finals MVP than him.
Watching the game, I couldn't help but think back to all those trade rumors about the Kings and Celtics. There were multiple rumors that had either K-Mart going to the C's or even Reke going to them. Now I don't think that K-Mart would have really helped them but I do think if the Celtics somehow managed to pry Reke from us, they would have won the series. Funny how thinks work.

actually, what i feared happened. the game getting too close and the refs close crucial calls will decide the winner which during this game benefited the Lakers. obviously the refs blew that Gasol jumping violation shot (foot hit the floor before releasing the ball) that when in a crucial stretch of the game. Lakers got lucky this game thanks for the refs...sigh...
Of all the games this series, this was officiated the best. That's a tough call on Gasol there, and while they did blow it, sometimes calls get blown. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. It's telling that they didn't call a foul on that possession with all the contact, not to mention the other contact that they let go. The refs got a little too involved late in the fourth quarter, but overall, this wasn't about the refs. The Celtics couldn't put the Lakers away, and the rest is history.
Yes, we all agree Tyreke needs a jumpshot to take his game to superstar level. But I don't think kobe is necessary what you want him to be. It was seriously embarassing to get the MVP for kobe. 15 rebs or not, the honest truth is he was nowhere to be found on offense through out the game. Even when his teammates already took the lead and he had a chance to play hero with the 3. Bricks and Gasol again with the offensive rebound to seal the game.
Look, I know what you mean... but no Tyreke doesn't need to have kobe's shot. I would want him to have his own shot and be better than kobe. It is possible for him to be that good.
