Um...get well soon Tyreke.

Alright, so here is a really happy guy to cheer everybody up while you wait. There will be Girls later:
[yt=Chipper Guy]v1PBptSDIh8[/yt]

Greene ( B+ ) -- well you know what they say about always saving the best for first...probably our best player tonight. Started off aggressive, posting up, getting ourt on the break for a +1, jumping a passing lane for a steal, then knocking down a side jumper. Threw a bad pass trying to hit Cisco for an alley oop or something. Got blocked by Lopez as he tried to get aggressive on the drive again. Started the 2nd hitting the angle three. Got up high for the block on the break, but called goaltending. Was really helping on the glass all night, and with our frontline weenies losing every rebounding battle, it was needed. Missed the angle three before half. Began the third missing the fading jumper in the corner, then was able to draw several fouls inside as one fo the few Kings who got ot the line. Hit a side jumpoer. No idea where he was late atfer being our best guy through 3/4. Finally back in for the final 4 minutes as we took out Jason and went small/desperate, but did little other than miss a three. Not a spectacular outing but one of the few Kings playing a strong game tonight.

Olivia Wilde

Landry ( D ) -- followed up one of his stongest games since arriving with one of his poorest. Against a full sized and then some frontline (yes, even the Nets can say that with 7'0 Lopez, 7'0 Yi and 6'10" Boone) again struggled with the size issue, and again had a catastrophically bad rebounding night (3). And when the offense is not there, as it was not tonight, struggles to contribute. Started ok in the early going, hitting a couple of little jumpers over Jianlian, but then the size issue really began to become a factor. Tried to go inside and got his next two shots blocked. Then missed over Jianlian, got it back, missed again, but got fouled. Got chased off the block by a double a couple fo times, but mostly just not able to get it going one on one. Got to the oful line again and hit both. Blocked on the help by Lopez. Missed the long jumper. Started the 3rd with an ggressive take, and came up with a help block along the baseline. But then missed the side jumper and got beat several times by Yi and picked up fouls which sent him to the bench. Not really a factor in the 4th either, getting one jumper and one scrambling assist to Beno after he came up short/got a shot partially blocked inside, recovered an kicked it out, but otherwise continuing to miss and be completely ineffective on the glass as our frontline pairing nearly got doubled up again by theirs on the glass 19-10.

Gemma Atkinson

Hawes ( C- ) -- you know statistically you look at this and its a mixed bad -- 12pts 7rebs 6ast is interesting. 5-13 shooting and 4 TOs is not. And Spencer wanted to compete. That's the best way to phrase this -- he was making an effort. But then you get down to the basic reality of things, which is that Spencer got his butt absolutely kicked on both ends of the floor as Brook Lopez mopped the floor with him. Scored over twice and overpowered by Lopez to start, missed a couple of jumpers back the other way, but then hit a running hook going into Lopez's chest that at least showed he wasn't going to compeltely run away. Got an o-reb and finish flip -- and that was the other thign about he and Landry's rebounding again tonight -- combine they grabbed all of 10, and 7 of those 10 were on the offensive glass. It was left up to our guards and SFs to come back and protect our defensive glass. Started the 2nd with a nifty behind the back pass to a cutting Udoka, but was in the paint too long before he got it off and got a 3 second violation. Got several blocks himself, also started notching turnovers and shaky ballhandling plays. Dribbled in a single jumper, missed a tip, had a good post move that would not fall. Some more of the same right idea wrong execution stuff after half -- a strong drive, but missed the finish. Got called fpor offensive basket interference on a Beno miss. Nice move but could not finsih and fell down. Began the 4th with another bad pass turnover trying to feed from up top. Got a tip follow at the 3:45 mark. In and out 3. Running hook rolled off. Overpowered by Lopez inside. Driving hook at the 2:00 mark, but after the game was over. This is a tough grade. Slapped silly by a far superior player, a rock solid player who just went at him over him and through him all night long. But unlike his early season Flutter days, Spencer was at least trying to comepte and do the right things. He just wasn't good enoguh or tough enough to accomplish them.

Rodney Dangerfield -- Women will nag won't they? So whatcha going to do?

Cisco ( D ) -- appears to be little other explanation for this one other than him partying with his homies back his hometown the ngiht before. Gets all the grade he got for one maybe 4 minutes stretch fo good basketball in the 3rd. Otherwaise was just awful. Missed the jumper to start, bit on a Harris upfake and ran over him on the perimeter. His pass was tipped and going to be picked off so fouled Harris in the face instead. Missed a three. Missed a side jumper. Finally hit a three at the end of the first to cut the Nets lead bakck to 1. Terrible pass up top for the turnover leading to a Nets breakaway in the 2nd. Had his lone burst of life in the 3rd. Missed an early jumper, but then came up wiht back to back hits o those little curls off of screens which are his bread and butter. Missed another jumper, this one from the opposite side, but then got the +1 layup on the break, and had a nice help block on Yi. That was it though. The hangover symptoms resumed and he went back to playing like he was nauseous, and wanted to spread the joy to us. Never hit another shot or made any other contribution in the 4th.

Adam Levine -- oh ok, if you absolutely insist. Another one of those surprise, oh he is considered hot? things. But after having been alerted I can see it. Besides, he sings. And wears scruff.

Udrih ( B- ) -- sometimes numbers can be deceptive. Sometimes a guy with poor numbers actually looked pretty decent out there. And sometimes a guy finishes with big numbers who really wasn't all that. This is one of those latter cases. Was quiet in the early going with only a single pop off a screen, and a dish to Donte on the break for the +1. Started the secodn pretty strongly, hitting a three, pulling up for alittle jumpr, and using a nice ball fake ro set up an easy drive and layup. But also was mixing in misses inside and out, and began to have turnover problems driving into trouble or getting picked up top. That's before we get to the defense. Was mroe of the same in the third as he began the quarter beating Harris to his favorite little spot and knocking in a jumper, but was unable to run the team at all and got picked and tunred it over repeatedly. Came on with the scoring a bit in the 4th to make the numbers look better, hitting a jumper and two threes late in the uqarter that were practically our only offense. Provided considerable help on the glass as well, once gain outrebounding either of our frontcourt guys who really need to take a look in the mirror. This was 19pts 9rebs 5ast -- those are good numebrs even for Reke, let alone Beno. But it just wasn't nearly that effective of an outing.

Sunita Marshall -- so since last time we had a Girls thread I explored some Thai beauties, thought I would select another country for the same treatment this time. This is Pakistan's Sunita Marshal.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bench

Casspi ( D- ) -- as I mentioned a few games ago, I think at this point Omri is ready for and needs this season to be over. With another group of fans to impress, just failed. Missed and missed, and did little else. Missed the flip inside, missed another post flip, had a ball stripped inside. Missed the three on the kickout from Donte to close the first quarter. Got blocked several times inide by Lopez. Had a tough take inside roll off in the 4th. Got the final layup of the game for his fans, but that was completely it. I held him above an F for the 1-8 2pts 1reb in 16 minutes he contributed simpy becasue he was at least mostly attacking for his misses. But he just didn't get it done again.

Nisha Paul -- also of Pakistan

Thompson ( B- ) -- Another one of our guys back before friends and family, and made a better showing then his comrades. Was roughly as punchless offensively as everybody else, wiht almost all of his offense coming off of o-rebs and follows/getting fouled. But did something none of or other bigs did: rebounded (11 in 24min, compared to 10 total in 67 mn for Landry/Hawes). And he knocked a few ball away inside as well, although overall had no better luck than Hawes at slowing the Lopez express. So all in all a useful roleplaying type outing, just on a night when we needd somebody to step up and provide more than that.

Amrita Rao -- Amrita is actually Indian, not Pakistani -- a distinction not likely to be lost on anybody from the region. But she's very cute, and it was becoming a struggle to find decent sized pics of Pakistani hotties that hadn't been confiscated by bearded cavemen posing as clerics.

Udoka ( D ) -- considerably useless outing in which his highlight came on the very last play of the game when he smartly passed ahead to Omri with a few secodns to go so the kid could get a dunk and not be shut out in front of all hte fans who came out to see him. Up untul that "highlight" Ime himself had been punchless and ineffective, contributing a few rebounds, missing a tip in attempt and one of his corner three point bricks, and repeatedly turning it over. His lone point of the night came at the 35 second mark of the 4th quarter when the Nets mysteriously intentionally fouled him so they could sub out Harris.

Benecio Del Toro -- you want proof that women are nuts? Some of them, and I emphasize some, think this man is sexy. On the other hand I think he normally looks like a Mexican drug cartel chieftain on a week long cocaine bender. Of course that's nto all bad -- heaven forbid women develop any taste in these sorts of things or 90% of the male population will die virgins.

May ( INC ) -- Briefly in the game in the second and did nothing. Splashed in a long jumper in the final garbage minute of the 4th.

Zoe Saldana -- one of the current "It" girls, and ah, back to the nice predictable world of female beauty. 99% of men can look at that pic and quickly agree "yeah, she is pretty". No fuss, no muss. You know why? Cuz we're shallow. None of this "ooh she's deep/dark" "ooh she's dangerous/brooding" stuff. Don't care. She's just pretty.

Noc ( F ) -- turned in a very special 0-5 (0-3 from 3pt land) in 10 minutes wiht nothing else performance. But dspread it out. Airballed a three in the 2nd. Missed the baseline flip to close the 3rd. And came up with the salvo of quick shot bricks in the 4th. Noc is in a tough situation here, but I have no idea what has happened to his game along the way.

Elizabeth Hurley -- former queen of the British hotties

McGuire ( INC ) -- in for the final posession of the first half for defense, and the Nets still got off a wide open shot. Neither he, nor Dorsey (who never entered at all), saw action the rest of the way. And while they are both defensive, not offensive, players, you have to wonder why not on a night when our main guys obviosuly did not have it.

I thought - it was great. We should have done the same against Clippers. It is a close race. We need to lose more if not all the time

Donte, JT, and Spence were the only ones who looked like they cared about the game.

I'm really not sure what the hell Udoka was doing out there when we needed to score to get back into the game since he can't (A) shoot or (B) do anything else.

Beno reverted to true last year form in this crapfest. Too bad they don't count assists to the other team.

Cisco must have hopped into a time machine because he regressed all the way back to rookie days with his craptastic style.

Brick- the women of this board have suffered too, have a heart and at least include some decent looking men. If you need suggestions, just ask. :D

What about Casspi? What has happened to him? To a top 5 rookie to....I don't know. He's looked worse and worse as the season goes on.

People really need to look at this roster.

Whoever thought this team was capable of winning 30+ games needs to get checked. (With or without Tyreke)

Well, in all actuality we should have probably already been at 30 wins if we didnt shoot ourselves in the foot so many damn times...but woulda coulda shoulda. We have 10 games left and are flirting with the 30 win 'plateau' as it is...and even if we land up with 26 or 27, who in the world outside of Sacramento even thought we'd have a remote chance at THAT?? Next year my friends...next year!

Come on Bricky. The only grade I see right now is a B+ for Donte. NOBODY should be getting anything better than a C- just for being a part of that atrocity.

I put "warm and tingly".

Who cares if we lost to the Nets. This loss could bump us up a pick or two in the draft. Honestly, I hope we only win one more this season (Lakers, obviously). I'd much rather end up with Aldrich than some 10th pick swingman. We gotta think about the future here people.

10,25 as
5,5 rbs
2,5 st
