Have to get up too early and won't be able to watch the Warriors game.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Kings couldn't make and then couldn't even miss a free throw on purpose wasting a great opportunity for the 3 game winning streak as they lost against the Celtics. 18-35 is still the 4th worst record in the NBA which with our luck could be enough fro 8th or 9th pick this summer. Kings dropped to 13-13 at home and are getting ready for the 3 game road trip that will be interrupted by the trade deadline. In the last 6 games in february - Kings should go .500 unles something terrible , I meant magnificant happens by this Thursday.
------------------------------------------------------------------
With little more than 24hrs until the christmas - it looks like Santa ain't coming to us this year. I am more afraid that if he comes - we will wish that he didn't. It is the last chance for Kenny Thomas to prove to us that he is a flexible piece (irony). I would settle for a draft pick of any kind. We have bunch of tradable guys that no one wants and if they want them - they won't give us anything of value. All we can hope is a crazy deal that will force other teams to deal and that we can profit from the snow ball effect. Other than that - all we can expect is a thread title like "welcome Catino Mobley" with the subtitle "we will support you as long as you are here but we hope that it won't be very long"
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Last night JT and Hawes had nice games together. Not great, not dominant but gamse that will give us chance to win every night. They can play better but it is a start and there are still plenty of things to improve but this is what we need to stop wanting to trade them for someone else's garbage.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
It was a best defensive performance I have seen Kings put up in a long time. Blocked shots, altered shots, rebounds, steals - everything was there. There were also mistakes but positives was much bigger this time. Unfortunately, Kings didn't win it but they will win many more if they continue to defend like this. Maybe they will hit some free throws eventually.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Boston did everything to give us the game and we were too proud(dumb) to take it. We shot better, we rebounded more, we turned it over less, had more assists, more blocks and we misses 11 damn free throws that cost us yet another game. Kings fought great, put themselves in the position to win and then choked worse than the former presidant on a pretzel.

AWARD TIME

TDM - Eddie "I can't miss tonight " House

LW-VC -Paul "the best shooter in the world" Pierce

JHA - Donte " I idolize Noc's shot selection" Greene

MIKKI - Cisco "I am corroded" Garcia

SAR- Metuselah - Kevin " my elbows still work" Garnet

RA&1 - Kendrick " I didn't get blocked by Udrih" Perkins

Jax/Walk - Ray " I should retire but I like the money too much" Allen

WTF moment of the game -You can't make them and then you figure - missing one is no problem and then you fail that too
-------------------------------------------------------------------
If Kings defend like they did last night - they will beat the Warriors who are injured and have a crazy coach. It is a back to back for both teams. While being extremely short handed, Warriors still gave lakers hard time tonight despite never really be in danger of winning the game. Kings played 12 guys last night and that needs to shorten to about 9. Also it will be interesting to watch if some of the "regulars" on both sides don't suit up as an indication for a possible trade. This is a very, very winable game for the Kings
-------------------------------------------------------------------
my matchups:

Evans vs Curry - Shooter vs everything else - who prevails ?

Kings vs block party - 11 blocks again please !

Morrow vs career high - will he do it ?

Magette vs Kings FT shooting - Will Corry attempt more than we will miss ?

George vs RA&1 award - a lock

PW vs lineup #26851 - most of the time I have no clue who is on the floor and why

-------------------------------------------------
Evans - learn how to shoot please
Thompson - do it again JT, AGAIN !!!
Greene - bounce back
Martin - ineffective
Hawes - all right

Casspi - free throws aren't as free as they look
Udrih - dribbling between 3 opponents is not very smart
Brockman - more PT
May - diet please!

rest = mateen
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Warriors, one of the few teams worse than us are 14-38 and 10-15 at home. They suck and they aren't trying to hide it. They are missing a bunch of important players and you never know what lineup you will see. Morrow will get the TDM. Magette the LW-VC and Kings have got to extend the road winning streak to 3.

Regarding the poll, Casspi should have known from the H.O.R.S.E. competition that it's not so easy to miss a banked free throw!

Forgot one WTF Moment of the Game: Where was Kevin Martin in the fourth quarter? Oh, on the bench. WTF?
Exactly! I am a big fan of Kevin, but I'm very disturbed by his decision to stay out of the game. Call it a "team play" if you want, but to me it seemed more like pouting about criticism for his recent end of game play. I could be wrong, I have been before...a long time ago...as a child actually...in uterus if I remember correctly.:D

Right . WTF was a largely ineffective, 30% shooting on the night, disappearing in the 4th quarter, ego bruised Martin doing on the bench ?

I applaud Westphal for that move, you don't play someone based on reputation, you play them based on what are you bringing to the table right now.
