WHO DAT!

Was it me, or did Peyton Manning look terrible on the last drive? He didn't seem to have ANY urgency, didn't audible out of a ill-advised run play on the goal line, and just look straight defeated after the pick.

I know 14 points in a minute-thirty would be a miracle, but he just looked beat.

WOW! Fun game and very competitive for all four quarters. Just got back from a cool Superbowl party and am a little under the weather. Anyone who wants to add up all the final scores have at it. Maybe uolj will assist since he agreed to already chip in. I think Rockmeister won the proverbial trophy with most overall pts. To the winnner congrads. To all who participated thanks. Brees was amazing which was no big surprise and their D made the stops in second half holding Manning and Colts to only 7 pts. I guess I wish I was in the French Quarter about now standing on Bourbon St. or around the corner on Canal St. Tonight that place is surely pre-marti gras INSANE!

Vikings > Aints (read this post of mine before commenting)
Aints > Colts
Therefore, Vikings > Colts and hence the Vikings are real SB champs.

The whole offense looked beat, including Manning. It's funny how one play can change a game, and I'm not talking about the interception. I'm talking about the drop by Pierre Garcon in the second quarter. Killed a drive, led to the Saints second quarter dominance, and the ensuing possessions probably reinforced Sean Payton's decision to kick onside to open the second half. I can't scrub that drop out of my mind. To me, it's the biggest play of the game.

Rock still won but I think you forgot to add my bonus points for getting NO's final score correct? If only Indy could have been convinced to kick a FG when down 14 and 4th and goal... hrrrmph.

I don't think we count the score, just the team or maybe the contest changed.

Anyways, although I won, I'm really happy for the Saints. It gave me goose bumps when the camera showed a picture of Brees holding his son and Brees had tears in his eyes. I though that was pretty special.

There was talk of doing bonus points for score, I thought it was 2 for either team and 8 for predicting the actual score. For a few seconds I thought it was 4 for either team and that I was going to be able to win this one, then reality set in.

But I was still happy for the Saints, I really like Sean Payton, I think he has the kind of guts that few coaches have. I am glad they converted that onside kick or he'd of been Belichick'd.

Someone on the Pats forum posted an interesting stat about the Colts. They are 2-6 in playoff games where less than 3 pass interference penalties are called in their favor. I kept waiting for one to get called on the Saints and it never happened. Very nice job by the Saints D to walk that fine line.

Sorry!

I really had planned to help, but have busy with a sick family and then totally forgot about it.

I'd check your work, but I don't have time now either! :) :(
