Why did Casspi play only a few minutes? Not saying he is playing well but PW keeps on sending mixed messages to the players - no one knows where they stand. A player plays 2 minutes one game and 20 the next. No rhyme or reason.

I think whatever mental block he had earlier in the season taking FTs is now shifted into his 3 point shot. But he isn't getting the minuted he used to either.

What makes this so discouraging is that last year it was the vets who didn't care. They had nothing to play for. They were old and had no future with this team.

This year, were basically playing all young guys ( aside from Noch and Udoka ) and these guys act like they don't give a **** either. Were is the fire? The desire to get better and never quit? This team is so mentally weak.

This is worse. If they would play like this for the rest of the season, they might not beat last year's win total, when all they need are 3 wins. These guys couldnt beat the 3-38 Nets right now. Luckily that isnt who they're playing.

Now saying that - shooting 25% from the field is what it is.

Omri is not a pure shooter. He is not Peja. Being a spot up shooter is not his game. He has been reduced to that because there is no playmaker on this team only guys who take shots. I can see he doesn't let himself get upset anymore because he realizes it is all garbage beyond his control at this point.

Why the Kings suck right now.

It's the lack of production by the bigs, especially JT. When the Kings were hanging around .500 at the beginning of the season JT was averaging at or near a double-double, his numbers have since slipped. Hawes just sucks right now, the guy has had a couple of nights where he made me think he has some potential, but he is more consistently horrible than he is good. With their lack of production, they make the rest of the team rely on their outside shot which hasn't been dropping as of late (hence the under 40% shooting nights). Sure, some of it is Kevin getting back into the mix, but the Kings were losing a lot prior to Kevin coming back. They need the return of JT more than anything.

in the last 10 games thompson is averaging 9/7... hawes is 11/5... brockman is 3/6...

wow... this has nothing to do with martin, we need better bigs...

on a side note, evans got hella blocked by carter. bring in sergio. we are being blown out. what do we have to lose? we are already losing by 22.
