injured for the night with back spasms.
Not really injured. He suited up and went through warm-ups, according to Grant, but then didn't come out for the game because of back spasms. If you say "injured," people assume something happened during the game that caused a specific problem.

:)

It will be interesting to see if we can maintain our play. Before the game i thought it was a must for Hawes and JT to at least play close to West and Okafor, and so far they have done that.

We already know our backcourt will show up every night but Our frontcourt is so unpredictable. It is imperative that we come out with a sense of urgency in the second half...especially being on the road.

What are they saying?
They were acting like defending nba champions during the first quarter. Really, nothing nice to say. Barely mentioned the fact Tyreke was out of the game. As soon as we got it going, they started acting like we are actually a worthy opponent. Funny thing is, NO is 8-11.

48-48 at the half. Quick glance at box score and virtually every category is even. Maybe to be expected with both teams having similar records. This game is just sitting there for Kings to steal on the road.

GO KINGS!

Nooo, horrible memories rushing back to my head!
I shouldn't have said it, but anyone who didn't see that image flash before their eyes, even if they don't want to admit it, most likely wasn't a Kings fan then. It's one of those things you will never, ever forget.

Beno Udrih has been such a big surprise for me this year.

Tyreke has been good too, but if there was a "consistent player of the year award" Beno would be in the lead. Has he had a bad game this year?

Except the Blocks, and Emaka seems to have really good games everytime he plays us. Interior DE-FENSE.

He had one bad game as I recall and it noticeably threw off the team. I was little surprised he seemed to play less than he was effective last game. Westphal hasn't yet deciphered how to get the most out of Beno and still use Sergio.

Tied at halftime and hawes is playing well. It's too bad that I'm stuck watching my little cousin learn how to play basketball instead of watching the game. Oh well...

Go kings, let's win this one.
