I don't think you should let it bother you that much. It's effort that's important and rookies and kids learning to not make the same mistakes over and over again.
Nobody looked for the Kings to be an over .500 team at all, so this isn't a surprise. We've got Garcia, Martin and Nocioni out and Hawes pretty much MIA and could easily have been totally blown out.
Losses like these are valuable lessons for a young team.
