wasn't even sure whetehr to list that or not as its basically a training camp invite, but I guess to whatever degree the immortal Rob Kurz is off the market (dang!), it should be noted.

As an aside, my God does that guy suck. If Brian Cardinal/Scalabrine forgot to flush one day the result would have more talent than Rob Kurz.

Also, not to nitpick, but Ryan Hollins went to Minny (not Chicago) and Powe went to Cleveland instead of Boston. And I'm pretty sure Marquis Daniels to Boston isn't officially done yet..

He's decent I suppose. I'm from Canada so I've seen Pops play a nice bit. I'd rather see what Brockman has to offer instead though.

CJ Watson turning down 3yrs $5.6mil is just nutty. Either he needs to have some of his homies drag his agent out into the street and kick the crap out of him, or he's got a wildy inflated view of his value around the league. Is the Nellie effect (nobody wants to play for him) so strong that fringe NBAers turn down millions in guaranteed money to get away from him? Or did the predictable April scrub search convince him he's a 20-10 guy?

Jason Collins to ATL for the vet's min -- great pick up

leaves us with:

1. Melvin Ely -- provides us with our #1 need -- size and post D.
2. Jarron Collins -- same as Jason but slightly worse skill wise..
3. Brian Skinner -- smart, experienced, can block some shots and ad toughness
4. Stromile Swift -- Brian Skinner with a learning disability...

and Collins is terrible. Both Collins' actually.

sessions is going to the timberwolves.... 4yr 16 million.... wow, kahn sure does love point guards... he must be related to don nelson or something. the bucks have 7 days to match the offer.... i wouldnt want to play for the knicks either but damn. so is flynn coming off the bench? that sucks, days after finding out he wouldnt have to compete with rubio for minutes he has to play behind sessions.... damn, that sucks.

I would think somebody would pick him up, but its hard to see it being us. We are so overlaoded at the swingman spots as is, and in addition have a rookie PG who might turn out to be more of a SG. Throw in Geoff's claims that we are going to try to shave $$ by running a minimum 13 contract ship this year, and just don't see how Sasha happens.
