ROFLMAO

ROOKIE coach and players. serious choke job. that shot by fish reminds me of horry's shot that killed the kings in the playoffs a few years back. i'm calling it right now, orlando will not win the series if they lose today
Way to go out on a limb there. Down 3-1 with only 1 game left at home.

even if they would have won today, they werent going to win the series

I don't think I'll be able to watch ESPN for a year after this.

NBA CHAMPION LOS ANGELES LAKERS NBA CHAMPION

KOBE CHAMPION LAKERS CHAMPION RING LAKERS RING CHAMPION KOBE

THIS IS SPORTSCENTER

Serves Gasol right for dunking with 4 seconds left when up by 5. I'm surprised the whole Orlando team didn't jump him for that. That was classless. (Ok, the foul was harsh, but I'm glad he got in his face afterward)
I kinda agree with you but then again this is the finals. IMO the finals should be a whole different thing when it comes to class in a close game like this one was, especially when you're going up 3-1/made a strong comeback. Like I'm sure if Orlando was up in a close game and in the final seconds Dwight got an open dunk or something he'd throw down a monster one. The way I see it this is the biggest stage possible and the players all want to make a statement that they mean business.

I FEEL BAD FOR THE MAGIC!!!

How do you "MISS" a clear elbow in the face standing a few feet away? On this play in OT, the refs made sure the lakers kept getting the ball back until they scored.

Shouldn't kobe be ejected or suspended the next game?

Preseason or game 7 of the Finals, it's classless to do that. In a 1 possession game, it's not too big of a deal, but 5 points? I'd be pissed if I was on the other team, and I wouldn't shoot or dunk it in that situation unless the shot clock was gonna expire. I've been in those situations before, and other teams hate that.

Hm, hm. The 20some to change FTA disparity from the 4th to OT and all the bogus calls on LA's bigs earlier weren't sufficient. LA beats Bennett Salvatore on the road. Use italics and colour on your feelings statement.

As far as the rules state, yes he should be suspended next game. The chances of that actually happening are well.....what's the opposite of infinity?

kobe...... MJ comparisons gotta stop now.

Other than game 1, kobe has not had a good game. I know they will give kobe the finals MVP if they win. But come on. kobe single handedly choked game 3 away with missed free throws, forced plays, commited free turnovers all down the stretch.

Again tonight in game 4, horrible 2nd half. Especially in the 4th. Forced plays and turnover the ball again. Fisher saved him. If they didn't win the game at the end, it would've highlighted kobe's mistakes again.

I've never seen all time greats play this bad. I'm not saying he was the worse player on the floor. But his play is certainly not what legends do.

And would you be so kind to explain how Kobe's elbow before the game winning shot was within the rules ? Or how Kobe intentionally swinging elbows in Howard's face is not a technical ? The foul disparity maybe had to something with the fact that the Lakers were riding on top of Howard all game long every time he touched the ball in the post.

Exactly. The lakers got call for more fouls because they were committing fouls. The lakers actually got away with a lot more. And come on now...... laker fans should be the last to complain about foul disparity.

But hey, a laker fan in a Kings forum? We really should just ignore his/her comments.

I'm sure the majority of Howard's fts were because of intentional fouls. Not only that, but he got fouled on purpose to even prevent a shot from going up. That helps explain the disparity throughout the game, not sure how much of it was in the 4th. OT doesn't matter because it was pretty even.

Massive choke job by Magic. No one is going to give the win, you gotta take it. Their offense unraveled with no one other than Hedo wanting to touch the ball at the end of the game. They got bailed out of two inbounds violation calls and all they got was some wild heaves. However, I have lost track of how many times this team has lost winnable games in this playoffs and still managed to bounce back. Down 1-3 is not a nice place to be though.

Props to Fisher. He has hit some daggers before and still continues to do so between collecting social security. The asterisk-peat Lakers definitely had some clutch role players.

Props to Kobe for getting away with elbows to the head again. The league will use some combination of "inadvertent" and "in the act of play" to weasel out of upholding their own rules. NBA - where same **** happens.

NO MENTION OF KOBE's ELBOW ON ESPN......

Are we surprise? If Artest was the one that elbowed Jameer Nelson, guarantee automatic ejection and non-stop post game discussion of whether Artest should be suspended the next game. For kobe? the media will keep it out of disucssion for him.

Knowing the league is like this, sometimes I question why myself and you all Kings faithful continue to watch the NBA.

Gotta agree with Gargamel. Lot of ticky-tack fouls ended up in the favor of Magic -- part of the standard NBA home court advantage. They didn't capitalize on it enough to win the game.

Some fans in East LA are rioting. Shaking stopped vehicles at red lights and just being rowdy it seems. The police put a stop to it and some fans are throwing rocks and beers or something at them. Nothing major, it seems to of died down.

Besides traffic, the fakers are why I hate living in LA.

The major problem for the Magic--what happened to their three point game? They've only shot 35%, 33%, 36%, and 33% from three in the four games so far. And their turnovers are cropping up all over the place (it has been an Achilles' heel for them throughout the season), particularly with Dwight, and Rashard Lewis is just so unpredictable and not worth even half the money. And now the Lakers steal two victories from the jaws of defeat (Dwight must have had Nick Anderson visions in those free throws with 10 seceonds left, and Courtney Lee's heartbreak miss), and basically are on their way to a championship (I can't see the Magic recovering from this given the history and the psychological component involved).
