Now i remember why i love Beno so much, when he is under control and not trying to be too cute with the ball, that is when he is most effective.

You don't stop Dwight Howard. You hope to contain him and stop the other Magic players. Thus far, I think the Kings have done a pretty good job of minimizing his effectiveness.

Our defense caught up to us, were not good enough at scoring the ball to try and go back and forth with a team like this.

Beno is looking like bibby out there....on defense.

Howard has 15 points with 3 minutes left in the half on 6-7 shooting. That puts him on a pace to score over 30 - more effective offensively than he is on average.

In the second half i look for him not to get the ball much, i have noticed that their perimeter players ignore him at times down low...especially in crunch time.

Salmons Syndrome? Note that John has six now, which puts him on pace for about 24.

Thompson is going to play more minutes tonight as Hawes and Moore got into foul trouble early. It's not an excuse, it's a fact. And KT isn't doing a bad job. Some of you need a reality check IMHO... I'd rather see KT in right now and Jason at the end of the game, quite frankly.

Other than the fact that we are not defending or rebounding - not too bad

Looking at a bright side - I have Hedo, D12 and Lewis on various of my fantasy teams

Fundamentally Unsound Defense

How many coaches do we have? Five? Six? And our vets still don't know how to close out on outside shooters, leaving their feet like fools. Maybe we need to get a local high school coach to teach them how to close out.
This is ridiculous and embarrassing.

I'm watching the game on NBA League Pass Broadband. I had to laugh...the commentators just brought up the Kings starting the season with 4 consecutive road games and calling it "cruel and unusual" punishment. Then they went on to say that they don't ever remember that happening before to a team. IIRC this is our second year in a row with 4 roadies to start the season.

Kenny does NOTHING well at all, i would rather go small then to have him out there. I want Jason in for a lot longer then just the end...how in the world will that help us? Him and shelden together look great.

I cannot imagine how someone could possibly be humilated over what we're seeing from our Kings tonight. I'm proud of them... mistakes? Sure, but you cannot fault their heart, their effort or their determination. These guys are only going to get better. If that's humiliating, I'll take that every single day of the week.

And NewArena? Kenny Thomas was benched for a good part of last year because he didn't show effort, or hustle or anything else. If Reggie Theus is giving him minutes, it's because Kenny has damned well earned them in practice. How could you possibly fault that?

No one is perfect. The effort and lack of ego Kenny is showing this season is commendable whether you want to acknowledge it or not.
