Yeah that is a bummer:(...I guess she & Doctor's felt like that was the best decision. Sure hope she can make it back at some point.
No doubt the team will miss her.

Our...best to you & a speedy recovery!

I knew she was in pain. I took pictures at the NBA Jr./WNBA Jr. Home Court Challenge event the other day.

Rebekkah was there (with Laura) and Brunson had huge icepacks taped to her knees. The kids didn't see, because it was below her longish shorts. It was the size of the packs the players usually put on right after a game.

Knowing Rebekkah, she's a warrior, so she'll be back.

From today's (Tuesday, August 12th) Sacramento Bee, here's an article on the updated status of Bekkah:

http://www.sacbee.com/100/story/1149542.html

Brunson's four-to-six-week anticipated recovery time will affect the Monarchs' playoff push. If she is ready in four weeks, she'll miss two games after play resumes Aug. 28. But if she misses six weeks, she won't be available until the postseason – if the Monarchs can hold on to at least their fourth-place slot.

I think we cross posted, I was just wondering out loud if the Bee article was giving new news.

However, it does remind me that they finally put links up for Monarchs Talk inteviews again, Harper and Ambers talked about the implications of the 4-6 week window.

EDIT: oops, no they didn't. Well those two DID talk last week about the implications of Brunson's rehab and 4-6 timetable, the entire first hour was seemingly a discussion of that. But they are still a week behind on making the links available on the Monarchs site. The Abetamarco and Williams-Strong clips are up tho.
