Meet the Monarchs at Arden Fair Mall (1689 Arden Way.) on Thursday, May 15, from 6 - 8 p.m.

The evening will include:


  • [*]A Monarchs Team Scrimmage
    [*]Shooting Contests and Skills Demonstrations
    [*]Performances by the Hip Hop Crew
    [*]Monarchs prizes and much more!
There is no cost for parking or admission.

Nicole *maaaaaaaay* be back by Thursday...I'm not sure she's back right now, the Russian Championship series her team is involved in I believe is still going or may be over shortly since I believe her team is/was down 2-1 in a best of five last time I checked.


Lol, you did your meet and greet at the Keys concert? They should have just bought the arena out and done the M&G it last night Win win for Keys and the fans no? ;)

Huh, I missed them, but I passed DeMya when she was walking around on the crowded concourse and saw Ticha when she made her way to her floor seats. Of the Kings in attendance, I saw Artest and Shareef sitting a section away from me.

Yeah I saw Kara when I was waiting to Meet Alicia Keys (who by the way is absolutely amazing and the sweetest person I have ever met! Lol). Adrian was sitting on the floor for a little and than left. That awesome that you saw Ticha and Demya! Concert was definitely a great experience! :D

Nicole's team (CSKA) lost again on Friday giving the Russian championship to Spartak 3-1. Hopefully, that means she is back in town already. Please, oh please...

Did you get the meet & greet off of her website? I got the same thing when she was in Philly last month. AKeys is thee most amazing & down 2 earth entertainer I've ever met. ((behind JANET)) n the show was great too !

Hey yeah I did get the meet and greet through her website. She is soooo friendly and is very honest with everything she says. I was sooo nervous at first, but once I talked to her and than got the infamous hug that everyone talks about I settled down. LOL :D

I missed most of the Monarchs...Adrian walked past our seats & we shouted out ...Go Monarchs! She gave us the biggest smile:)

I would have loved to meet Keys....my pal & I got to sit in the 3rd row for 2 songs, almost got busted when my friend went to close to the stage!
Security walked over just in case she got too wild.;)

Just a beautiful, passionate performer. The piano playing was awesome.

I guess our Monarchs have real good taste!

She is soooo nice! That is awesome that you got to move up near the stage for a couple of songs. Our seats were not too bad, they were next to the stage on the left side. It was kind of weird to see sooo many empty seats, but I guess because it was Mother's Day not a lot of people came out for a concert.

Yeah there's a review in todays Bee. It said there was only 7,000...thats a sad turnout! Well like you said it was Mothers day, & they mentioned the tough times for folks. I'm just happy she came to SacTown, I did not want to go to San Jose.

Luv my Keys, even got her on my ringtone;)

SACRAMENTO, CALIF. – Monarchs players and coaches, Monty the Mascot and the Hip Hop Crew to meet and interact with fans and public at annual Meet the Monarchs event

WHO: The entire Sacramento Monarchs team and coaches, Monarchs mascot Monty, the Hip Hop Crew and Monarchs fans

WHAT: The Monarchs will appear at Arden Fair Mall on Thursday, May 15 for the annual Meet the Monarchs event. The event will highlight the basketball skills of the team and include public addresses by Ticha Penicheiro, Kara Lawson and Coach Boucek, performances by the Hip Hop Crew and much more. This event is free to the public.

WHEN: Thursday, May 15, 2007
6 – 8 p.m.

WHERE: Arden Fair Mall
