Help clear up an argument about one of Napear's famous quotes

My coworker and I are having an argument about one of Grant Napear's catch phrases. Whenever a Kings player scores and gets fouled at the same time, Napear nearly always says "Put it in the __________ and send him to the line!" The blank is what we are arguing about. One of us says "book" or "books", and the other says it is "bucket".

So, is it "Put it in the books and send him to the line!" OR

"Put it in th bucket and send him to the line!"

It is "Put it in the book (as in scorebook) and send him to the line!" And I'm 100% certain.

Nope. He says "put it in the book"... It means mark the basket down as scored. I believe Jerry Reynolds may have even mentioned it in his book...

You have to think, why would Grant say "put it in the bucket"? Somone on the Kings has obviously already scored, and got the 'and 1' to boot.

He says BOOK. But, listen to yourself carefully as you say "book and." Depending on his enunciation as he is saying the next word after book, there are those who (on that occasion) could think they heard the word bucket.
