Interesting take on Dallas. I tend to agree. Especially since Dallas is the first of the two games so we will be fresh. I see this as the winnable game out of the two. However, it will be a hard win. Hopefully we can make it one of those ssscchhhlllooopppyyy road wins.

On the other hand I will not be disappointed if we lose but play well. They are, after all, the team that beat San Antonio in the playoffs and went on to the finals. So we don't really have a chance if they play their game.

Ty, I think that last year we put Ron on Dirk for moments and had success taking Dirk off his game. So maybe it would be good to do that and sub in Cisco and Salmons often to work the perimeter.

dirk has that height advantage. but artest can body him up and keep him out of the paint. force dirk to take contested 17ft jumpers all night. i think thomas will be the guy. he has to play STRONG. you cant really go wrong with artest on him.

So is Dirk playing tonight? I know a win is a win, but its not as fun to get excited about the Kings beating already beat up teams.

Its like, if the Kings win people will say things like "doesnt mean anything, they didnt have Dirk!" and if they lose its like "whoa! Kings suck, they cant even beat the Mavs without Dirk!".

Call me a masochist, but I want Dallas healthy when the Kings play them.

Dallas needs to get humbled, star player and all.
