they have attempted so many more shots and are outrebounding us by millions

Actually, he has really good numbers. 17 pts, 5 rebs, 9 assists, a steal and no TO's. His shootins is off - only 5 of 15, but he does have 17 points. Not too bad overall.

Maybe there's some sort of universal law that says Artest and Martin both can't have a high shooting percentage on the same night.

agreed, but tonight NOBODY on our team has played well on defense. The clippers are just having a worse offensive night than we are. Sadly, I don't think we can single him out tonight for defense because everybody pretty much defended about the same.
