Kenny Thomas has issues

Long time follower of the forum and i post when i feel like i have something to contribute. That being said, i've noticed that Kenny Thomas really really has some attitude issues. Right now in the game, Artest tried to tell him something and he just blew him off. He's had issues with a gentlemen like SAR which all comes down to his attitude/selfness. He doesnt pass the ball very well nor does he look for the open player. We dont need this guy. just my 2 cents.

I saw that I just wasn't sure if anyone else did. It was right before a break, Kenny just blew his like, 5th layup in a row and Ron got the offensive rebound and drew the foul. Kenny was walking back to the huddle and Ron tried to turn him around and say something and Thomas said something to him with a pissed off look on his face, threw Artests arm out of the way and walked away. I wouldn't wish injury on anyone. But I wouldn't mind if somehow he got suspended for the entire season. I've grown so accustomed to having players with good character and players who changed their attitude when they put on a Kings uniform. Kenny Thomas is not one of those guys. He provides nothing but whining, poor defense, and pee poor offense.

I would trade him but getting him suspended would suck. Without him, our rebounding (what we have anyway) is gone.

Give me Potapenko. Hell give me Mo Taylor (if he can stay in the damn game) I'm just tired of seeing Thomas on the court. I'm tired of seeing his little whiny face, and I'm tired of seeing him getting minutes over the much better Shareef... No Williamson, no Price, no Pota. They may not sound like good names, but I would't mind any of them taking from his minutes. (Yes, Price... Small ball)

Maybe it's just the heat of the moment. Watching the Kings throw away a game, and watch Thomas get 6 points... and 6 fouls... While holding Garnett to a respectable 100% shooting until the last like 3 minutes but of course Thomas wasn't even on the floor at that point. But I'm just tired of this guys attitude. And after seeing him blow off Artest in that way just made me lose the .001% respect I had for him

He did have 10 boards to SAR's 3, but yeah...He needs an attitude adjustment.

I saw this too. I don't hate KT, but I don't like him either. He's a whiner. I had no idea why he kept trying to do a layup with KG defending him is beyond me. Sure hope he has a better game (as well as the rest of the Kings team) on Friday.

Earlier in the game, I believe in the first quarter, Thomas screamed at Martin because Martin's man got by him. Thomas didn't rotate and the guy scored.

Kenny started yelling at Martin about it. I'm thinking ... the number of times you get beat (your man is shoot 100% and has 8 points) and the fact that Martin is young and defending a stud that perhaps KT ought to shut up.

Ditto...When Kenny's rebounding numbers dip, then I'll be ready to ship him off. As of now he's one of the only guys on the team he rebounds. Artest's night was a fluke, Miller did OK, and SAR was...SAR.

Kenny is whiny, but right now the Kings need him. And the Kings are going to need him until Petrie gets a rebounding big.

Here's a query -- Kenny Thomas is what he is, but he was also the only guy matched up against a first ballot HOFer tonight. What did he do that made him stand out from the rest of the team on a night when NOBODY did anything?

Yeah, I'm no Kenny Thomas fan, but tonight isn't really the night to pick on him. Compared to the preseason he actually looked decent tonight and his effort on the boards was good.

I also seen it when Kenny pulled his arm away from Ron Ron. Arteste was just trying to tell him to throw the ball down for a dunk instead of putting it up softly like he does every game. To quote the post above the only reason Kenny seemed like he played descent defense on KG was the fact that KG shot the ball only 9 times. 7 of 9 does not mean he played good defense. I would have much rather have seen SAR out there making it some what difficult for KG like last year.

That's what I see. He wants to score more points, he wants to not turn the ball over, he wants to hit his freethrows, he wants to not foul out. The problem is that he sucks. He is not ready to accept that he is not that good. So the end result of all this is a bunch of selfish crybaby pouting.

He has the passion he just does not know how to filter it positively.



I'm sorry but we lost because of Ron's offense. He worked his butt off defensively just to throw it away on the other end. Coming close to a triple double with steals is insane but I don't think he got the memo about shooting.

This Drives me CRAZY the basketball savy on here is almost non existant! Did you ever think to yourself that KG did not get off more shots because KT was denying him like a mad man. If your expecting KT to put the clamps on Garrnett your nuts actually if your expecting anyone in the NBA to put the clamps on KG you nuts! This had nothing to do with KT. This has to do with a bunch of "mother chukkers" like we've got going on here in SacTown. An offense that revolves around a game of hot potato ... and whoever doesn't shoot it is the loser.

Teammates wouldn't be teammates if they came out to the media when they don't like a guy. I mean, really.

Any player that openly said: "KT is a selfish prig" should be strung up by their ankles and slapped with bamboo rods (even if it is true).
