What are your favorite Seinfeld moments or episodes?

I'll start.

I love the episode where Elaine tries to seduce a gay man. Of course, she fails and Jerry has to explain to a tearful Elaine how some people play for one team and some people play for another, and that "our team is a good team too." The metaphor gets pushed way too far of course.

Master of your domain. First Seinfeld I really remember watching start to finish and was hooked ever since.

Other than that the Keith Hernandez/grassy knoll/Zapruder episode.

i've got literally hundreds of favorite seinfeld moments...

here's a good one to start:
the episode where george pretends to be a marine biologist, and pulls a golfball out of a beached whale's blowhole. "easy big fella." oh man, what a classic ending for an episode...

:D

My all-time favs:

1.) George describing his marine biologist moment with the golf ball and the beached whale! "I swear he was ten stories high if he was a foot!"

2.) Kramer's portrait being desired by "art experts".

3.) Elaine trying to dance at the company party...HILARIOUS!

4.) Kramer's Junior Mint flying into the operation!

5.) Jerry getting arrested for peeing in the parking garage and trying to say he was pouring out a bottle of water!

6.) Jerry breaking up with his girlfriend by saying "hello" like a corny British guy after she had given him the utlimatum of doing the voice, or staying with her.

my all time favorite episode is the parking garage episode where they can't find their car, everything goes wrong and when they FINALLY find their car- it doesn't start.

of course the jr mint episode is CLASSIC

and the episode where george is in the background of a picture his boss has from the beach and he wants out of the picture so he has kramer pose as a dermatologist so they can get a picture of his boss without his shirt on to create a new picture. priceless.

I'm not a superfan, but I remember some moments that cracked me up. Maybe Padrino could decipher the episodes.

I like the one where George built a bed under his desk and Steinbrenner decided to wait for him till he got back. He was singing "Hearbreaker" by Pat Benatar and his grandson and dog kept looking under the desk at George.

The Calzone episode where Kramer tries to pay for them with a bag of pennies and the argument with the owner that ensues.

There was an episode that's vague to me now, but it had the theme of whether George's eyesight was dependable. He told Seinfeld he saw some woman, but couldn't be sure and during the convo he spotted a dime on the floor across the room and bit into an onion that was sitting on the counter (while thinking it was an apple). I'd love to get the gist of that episode. Seinfeld tells him, "I dunno what to think! Yer eatin onions...yer spottin dimes!" He and George almost broke into a laugh during that line.

There was another vague episode where Seinfeld and a woman were in a cab and she wanted him to kiss her. He said something to her and she pushed him out on the sidewalk. I died laughing at the way he just plopped out of the cab and at the face he made as the car drove off. Also like to know the gist of that one.

"No soup for you!!!"

Nothing tops the Soup Nazi episode. Absolutely hilarious. I also like the episodes with Poppy where he keeps grossing out Jerry, especially when Jerry was dating Poppy's daughter and he made dinner for them after not washing his hands after using the restroom. And the one with George and the Frogger video game.

Poppy. LOL. "Oh Jerry, I make this special just for you, I do it myself."

They killed Susan!

Actually, I still haven't seen that episode. I don't think it hits the reruns on a regular basis.

That poor woman. Her life takes an awful turn for the worse the day she meets George.

That image of her dead body sitting upright in the chair, tongue stuck mid-lick on an envelope, is priceless black humor.

What a show...seriously. The only show where you can say single words or short terms and everyone who has ever seen the show knows exactly what you're talking about:

The "Bro"
Marble rye
Shrinkage ("It shrinks?")
The contest
The Chinese restaurant
The tip calculator

I could keep going...honestly, I love just about every episode. But I have to echo those who named the marine biologist episode. "Is that a Titleist?"...cracks me up every time. My favorite scene, however, is probably the one in which Kramer and Newman are making sausage in Jerry's kitchen...classic.

I love the episode where Kramer is trying to get back a card signed by the Yankees from a kid in the hospital, and Kramer says ' you know what I would love more than anything?' and the kid says ' to see me get out of this bed and walk again?' and kramer says something like 'that would be okay but I'd really like that card back.'

any episode with uncle leo esp. why didn't you say hello

any episode with newman. esp the one where kramer is being interogated at the post office.

I love all of the episodes where Jerry has a problem with someone and gives a label to their problem.

My favorite episode is when the women he is dating has "man hands", and it shows her cracking his lobster, opening a beer for him, etc. She's attractive but she has these gigantic man hands. :D

Honorable mention : "He's a close talker."

You beat me to it.

That might be my favorite episode in a TV comedy ever.

"What is that, a Titleist?"

Festivus.

Festivus is a nondenominational holiday featured in "The Strike" episode of Seinfeld, a popular United States based television sitcom of the 1990s. The holiday was a plot device in the episode, which first aired on December 18, 1997. Many people, influenced or inspired by Seinfeld, now celebrate the holiday, in varying degrees of seriousness. Some do it religiously; others do it with good tidings in their respect to Seinfeld.

According to Seinfeld, Festivus is celebrated each year on December 23, but many people celebrate it other times, often in early December. Its slogan is "A Festivus for the rest of us!" An aluminium pole is generally used in lieu of a Christmas tree or other holiday decoration, shedding holiday materialism. Those attending participate in the "Airing of Grievances" which is an opportunity for all to vent their hostilities toward each other, and after a Festivus dinner, The Feats of Strength are performed. Traditionally, Festivus is not over until the head of the household is wrestled to the floor and "pinned."

Too many to name are my favorite!
