Hiya - Sorry I missed you on the 8th VF - and I guess tonight too. It's 12:18 and am peeking at the worlds best Kings site while I contemplate entering paperwork and listen to what is a very quiet law radio. Which is lovely because of the Fair & fire it's been a zoo up here.
Ralston Fire is getting crazy - I think they finally have it at 15% contained - but I just got an Office of Emergency Service Msg and winds are supposed to really kick up tomorrow - which could be a bad set back. I am not in danger from the fire where I live (unless is decides to head a different direction) but I have good friends who are in it's path. Kinda scary!
2 days till the Blood/Bone Marrow Drive - kinda freaking me out - hope I have it all done

Have great weekend plans. I have to convert the homestead from warm weather mode to cold weather mode. You know, get out the electric blanket, get the stovepipe cleaned out, make sure all the pine needles are off the roof, clear the spot on the porch for the first load of seasoned firewood, etc.
It's already feeling like we're going to have a COLD winter. Temperature early this morning was 38 degrees!

Sounds like you'll be pretty busy. The weather sure turned quickly. Last week I was wearing shorts to work..this week jeans and sweaters. I'm sitting here with a cup of hot chocolate and a jacket on. I hate cold weather!!
I'm not feeling the best so I'll probably stay in my jammies most of the day tomorrow and work on a a drawing for a co-worker. She said she would pay me to do it, but I'll probably just give it to her for Christmas. What a big, ole softy I am.
