No More Divisiveness... We Win Together

#1
I do not want to hear anymore crap about WHO SHOULD DO WHAT.

It is CHAMPIONSHIP TIME...

WINNER TAKE ALL...

We are a Family. PERIOD
We win together PERIOD.
No Superstars... No Egos.

It is all about the LOVE For our team.
If you can't muster any... Post Saturday night after the Game.
No More of this divisiveness.
We aren't Detroit, We are the Monarchs.

All I want to hear from the Sac faithful is how we do this. If you have Doubts...
Post somewhere else...
We don't need it.

Game 5... Bring It

MONARCHS 2006
WE RUN THIS

If you Doubt this
You can Kiss This.

We Run This

I Agree! Last Night's game was Last Night. And Yes, I had my fair share of complaining about how we played last night, but like Yo said, You can't Think about the past, you have to look forward. And forward's Saturday's game. Get all your frustrations out now, and by Saturday, keep on cheering for the Monarchs!

Agreed! There's more than enough blame to go around: possible Monarchs' lack of focus, bad officiating, the media, ESPN's analysts, the Shock players, Bill Laimbeer (ESPECIALLY him!), the WNBA wanting to have a five-game Finals series, whatever....you name it. Heck you might as well throw El Nino in the blame-game too!

But what I'm saying is the Monarchs have one more game to play, Saturday afternoon. It's for the whole shebang, the whole enchilada, the works, and just one more game!

Bill's "us versus The World" thinking doesn't impress me. Not even the Monarchs or the Shock saying they "get no respect" doesn't impress me either. The "gets no respect" line, by the way, can be an effective motivational tool in some aspects. But this year, I think it's overrated. That line worked for comedian Rodney Dangerfield's career, but both teams have some respect for each other, and from the media as well.

We've been telling Bill to "put up or shut up", and rightly so. But we Monarchs fans should do the same: that is, no worrying about Games #2 and #4, no worrying about that we're in Detroit (even though it's on a slightly different arena), no more griping what the Monarchs or the Shock should've (or should NOT have) done, or the coaches.

Instead, we need just a pure positive MOJO going around our team, just like Luv13Fan suggests.

Some teams tend to get a ahead of themselves and feel a bit too complacent when they sense victory. And they might need to feel a bit threatened to perform better. Perhaps the Game #4 loss is probably the best wake-up call the Monarchs ever had this year, and it couldn't have come at a better time!

So, let send those positive vibes for our Monarchs!!! :)

No more whining, no more complaining, no more b___ing about the refs, no more conspiracy theories....we'll leave those to Bill Laimbeer! He can have them! We will take (and keep) what matters the most: the WNBA Championship Trophy!!! :D

So they’ve decided not to take the path of least resistance and the series is now drawn out to the climactic deciding game 5. They rejected last years script and are charting a new course. Our faith and support needs to follow it to its conclusion. They want this, we want this, so let’s make it happen.

I’ll be honest, I haven’t coooooooooooooommmmmmmmpletely turned the page yet on what happened Wednesday, but I’m getting closer – I certainly am starting get antsy and irritated. I will in full out game ready mode on Saturday.

For one final time I ask these Monarchs to do one thing…

Remember who you are….you are the reigning WNBA champions. DEFEND WHAT’S YOURS LADIES, YOU’VE WORKED TOO HARD TO GET THIS CLOSE AND LET SOMEONE TAKE IT FROM YOU, LEAST NOT WITHOUT MORE OF A FIGHT THAN YOU PUT UP WEDS. YOU HAVE A CHANCE FOR REDEMPTION….THIS IS YOUR TITLE DAMNIT, DEFEND IT AND BRING IT BACK HOME!

WE RUN THIS!!!

My friend's bday celebration is tomorrow, so I'm stuck going to that instead of watching the game. Rats! She's a fan too though, so maybe by tomorrow she will have decided to change plans and we can attend the game-viewing party at Arco instead. Wishful thinking, but one can always hope.....

May tomorrow be the day that our team makes history!! May they become the first WNBA team to win the trophy at an away game! I know they can do it, they're steaming mad after Wednesday's game and can pull it all together tomorrow.

GO MONARCHS
