Fantasy Sim league signups AND League rosters (merged)

I have an idea. I think we should have a 30 team sim league to pass the time for TDOS.

Here is the plan. Forum members can select a team untill they are all taken. Then all the teams will be given players at random, and the format would be 1 superstar/1 allstar or 2 allstars plus a bunch of roleplayers. The top pick would be chosen at random, and so forth. People can trade players too, no salaries involved.

People can make trades, no salaries involved, and I would sim ten games at a time, every week. it is an 82 game season like normal.

and the trade deadline would be the 4th sim (41 games)

No you don't play it Loopy, it's just he's going to simulate a season based on our picks to see how far we go in NBA Live. It's a cool concept if we can get enough people, heck, be cool if we can make trades amongst each other too.

And Venom, let me know if you're using the most up-to-date stats from EA or not.

Are you going to start with actual team players or are all the players up for grabs?

In other words, what difference does picking a team make if you aren't going to have any of the players that actually make up that team?

Teams don't matter since you have to create a list of your 60 top players in the hopes that you will draft 12 them that you want.

maybe you can simulate a fantasy draft and tell us what the rosters are,
and play the game from there

after all everybody is going to chose kg,kobe,shaq,td,bron,wade,...


maybe it's a good idea to post all the rosters so that other posters can pick a team with one of their favourite players

Live draft?

This is a simulation game venom_7 is going to play on NBA Live 2006. You might want to read the rest of the thread... ;) That will also tell you what teams have been selected if the list in the first thread hasn't been updated.

At the current time it appears he's going to do a simulation draft and just let you know the results. This is not a fantasy league like those on Yahoo, etc.

this is true however some sim leagues have a column with a live draft so that the commisioner can just enter the live draft results in the game. its not a big deal, im excited for this league

naw we'll just give you a whole bunch of random players to work with. don't worry, all the teams should have a couple of star players
