[Game] 56/82: Warriors @ Kings 21 FEB 2025, 7pm PT/10pm ET

Gee, new guy, new teammates, new system, first practice. Makes sense. The thing that Christie might not want to do though it take him off and use him like he did Fox. Maybe take DeRozan off first and that way you don't have 3 new guys in there all at once with LaRavia, LaVine, and Jonas. Christie has actually been a pretty big factor on the failures he's been getting with his bench. It's a bit like Adelman his first season. It took Adelman like 102 years to get a consistent rhythm with his rotations.
I get your point and agree for the most part. Id still expect an NBA player to be able to make a bounce pass into the post when they have position

For the record, I'm rooting for him and want it to work out... was just an observation since he's been here, truth be told, I didn't watch Chi so don't know if that's bc of the new surroundings or is standard.

Some Bulls people actually brought this up after the trade, there's likely going to be a bit of a transition period with these bigs and LaVine considering he was playing with Vuc especially with how Vuc plays as a center.

My comment was not about Levine not being a talented player. I’m sure he will start hitting his shots like he always has. He just strikes me as not a super high IQ player. He can be super fun to watch and he can obviously score, but he looks like a very tough fit right now if he can’t really learn how to play better off Domas.

I guess it’s more sadness that in two years we have shifted from a group of high IQ players, with a ton of offensive flow and fun to watch basketball….to a lot of one on one/ISO ball. Yes I get it, will take time to gel, tough to throw players together on the fly, etc, but at the core we have lost the identify of the team.
He was litteraly one of the most efficient players in the league..This year!

When it works…our only effective defense seems to be blitzing and creating chaos. If a team figures out to beat that with quick passing we pretty much got nothing.
When a team has basically 3 defenders on it and 1 is a rookie who needs to develop that's about the only shot you've got. That said, hustle only makes up so much for lack of ability.
