Scoreboard Watch/Playoff Standings Watch 2025 Edition

Sure - if you're under .500, whatever team would have played yo just gets a bye.

But yeah, seems to me like the East always has a couple of very weak teams getting in to the playoffs while a couple of definitely stronger teams from the West miss out.
Yeah, they change everything else but this and i don't understand it.

I think Mavs will stay afloat until AD comes back and make them very hard to beat.

As crazy as it looks right now. It seems nobody won the trade this season
A lot of these moves weren't really for this season though. The Lakers got Doncic to set up post Bron, not this year although they could very well barnstorm sooner than later. The Mavs....well. Most moves were desperating lateral moves including Sacramento's. The Kings fortunately didn't destroy their own future when making that lateral move on paper, but sometimes lateral moves can balance a team out so we'll see. If it doesn't Monte has a clear path backwards now. He really didn't before. He was on the cusp of having to commit to another 5 year build plan around Fox IF Fox was interested in staying which obviously we now know he wasn't.

Hornets upset the Lakers last night. I wouldn’t completely rule out the Lakers falling into the same mix that the other teams 6-12 are in. Their depth is weak and they don’t have a center.

Clippers lost to the Bucks even with Giannis on a minutes restriction.

Phoenix about to lose to the Wemby-less Spurs. That will be seven losses in their last eight games.
yeh as of right now they look like they are toast. Still time to turn it around but they have two prominent players on the team they tried to trade for Jimmy Butler. One guy they don’t want on the team and one guy that almost assuredly asks for a trade this offseason.

Also doesn’t help them that they have their own version of a Mike Brown-Keon Ellis situation. Budenholzer refuses to play Dunn even though he would help their defense lol.

Disaster happened in San Antonio and how it will be resolved - who knows? I wish Wemby all the best, he is a good guy, but such health complications are REALLY dangerous. Not just from the athletes perspective.
It's fun to look at #6 spot in the west or higher, though having a safe separation from #11+ spot in the Conference is very beneficial for everyone's mental health. I expected Spurs to push (and succeed) for the play-in, not anymore. Suns are disintegrating. Couple weeks of good games from the Kings, resulting in Ws and we could begin analyzing more closely what's happening with the Clippers (tough schedule), Lakers (pathetic roster) and Rockets (lost ability to win lately).
By this time, after all the prior drama, Kings have a real chance to show who they are as a team now. I fully believe that current roster in current season is a winning one. Will Kings be able to do the job - needs to be seen.

Knicks got blown out by 37.

For them it's just a bad game.

Kings got blown out at home.

For.us, blown it up, the sky is falling.

Sometimes you have a bad game. I still believe in this team, and I have good faith in Doug, his pressor gave me confidence that he's not scared to make the hard moves

Are you comparing us to a team that just made a playoff run and get this didn’t run it back they went and got better and are now 37-19 with the same head coach for 4+ years. They lost to Cleveland of course the sky isn’t falling we got blown out by a 9th seeded team and we have no hope for now or the future. We have no team identity, no defense, no star the sky is falling unless you’re delusional

Yes I am, and you wasn't singing that tune when we won 7 in a row.

If you want, simply take Christie's time as coach. He is 15 and 10. Witch puts us in line for a easy playoff spot if we take that record alone.

However you wanna slice it, it's 1 game. We also have a team full of vets who understand it's 1 game not a young rookie team.

I dont believe flipping the switch is out of the question for this team. And let's not act like the Knicks are the role models for a franchise as of late

We also have 3 Allstars, I don't get this logic of us having no stars. We litteraly have 3 Allstars. Not potential Allstars but legit Allstars. What's delusional about the obvious Allstars on this team
