[Game] 44/82: Kings at Nuggets 23 JAN 2025, 6pm PT/9pm ET

I don't think playing him short minutes is working. He has big games once in awhile but scorers like him more often than not just look worse.
Yeah, it's tough to get a rhythm going when you're not out there much. That much is true for just about any shooter/scorer.

The team is in a tough spot with him though, because his value is probably at all time low, coming up to the dead line

His contract doesn't last forever. I think this is more about not letting him get left behind at this point. Maybe he gets dealt, but if he doesn't I think it's probably he's not leaving the rotation any time soon.

These guys are all pro athletes everyone plays back to backs. They need to hustle and play better. This is crazy
The other guys are all pro-athletes too

And not playing the second game of a back to back on the road after traveling 900 miles on a plane, following a hard fought come-from-behind win against a rival with a future hall-of-famer, losing an hour from the time zone change, landing around 4am, checking into a hotel probably just before sunrise, sleeping in the daylight past noon in a strange bed, getting a bite to eat of lunch when your body’s thinking about breakfast, putting in some pre-game shoot around to try to acclimate to a sudden 5,000 FEET elevation change to face a team that is a playoff contender, are coming off a day of rest, has the reigning MVP, and lives in the thin air of a mile high elevation.

The #noexcuses crowd could stand to chill a bit.

They’re pros, but they’re still people.

If I were the Kings I would merely ignore human biology and outhustle the Nuggets but maybe I’m different
