The other Christie adjustment on offense seems to be with Deebo. Yes, still seeing some iso ball which I’m ok with at certain times/matchups, but they have clearly told deebo he needs to start letting the corner 3’s fly. Will be interesting to see what happens as he gets more comfy with volume 3’s every game. Seems like it’s definitely helped our spacing and flow.

It's interesting in the last few games we've seen he can hit them so why is he so averse to taking them when called for?

Did I miss something or did Douche Kerr retreat to the tunnel immediately after the game so he didn’t have to face Coach Christie? DC looked like he wanted to upper-cut that idiot in the heat of the moment. For all the Chihuahua yapping Kerr did during the game, he sure didn’t seem to want any of the smoke once the buzzer sounded. Typical.

But I’m sure he’ll have a lot to say behind the protection of a table, microphone and security in the press room. SMH.

Kerr is a $#**** coach that owes his entire coaching career success to the Splash Brothers, and mostly Curry. We’ve seen what it looks like in spurts when those elements are missing from the equation and the complete truth will be revealed once Curry is gone (for those that can’t recognize already).
Everyone knows he was overrated for a while now just the talking heads that are friends with him still praise him

Why?

It might be a bit early to even fantasize that Doug turns out to be, say, a top-5 head coach in the league at any given moment - but if he does turn out to be that good, Doug is literally the one guy that we don't have to worry about getting snatched up by another team.
I speculate that some Kings fans might have been hesitant to get their hopes up about Doug becoming a really good coach because so many of the other intangibles line up so well that it would seem almost too good to be true. So, maybe some people were thinking of how it could go wrong, how he wasn't ready, you name it. Because hoo boy if he IS good... he's going to be as close to perfect as you can get for this team.

As a player he is the typical personality that does well coaching. Great defender, effort guy, plays the game right, great passer/facilitator. Not the star but an indispensable glue guy, and particularly for us, because he comes from the Golden Years. It's storybook stuff.

p.s. sorry still working on my signature...

I think Monk plays best as a primary ball handler. Particularly when on the floor with Domas. Those two just seem to have a chemistry between them.

I also think Carter is best as a primary ball handler…..
Explain! curious on what you've seen so far where you think this is his best spot.

Obviously too early in his career to really tell, but I like how he's been used in that combo guard, secondary creation/ball-handler role. Also tough to get a solid eval on his offense because I don't really think he's even close to being comfortable yet.

So freaking what? Does that excuse him of being an insufferable jackhole?

How about he just shuts his mouth about everything except his own team, which will keep him plenty busy for a while, and leave everything else to those that actually know a lot more than his ignorant @$$. The fact that he thinks he needs to give an opinion on every topic other than GSW basketball is not only tiring, but laughable. STFU Kerr! And tell Popovich to do the same!

More over to tonight’s game, that tool Kerr going berserk over a CLEAR offensive foul on his fake tough guy Draymond is as disingenuous and ignorant as it gets! A flop?! The guy is not only ignorant, he’s blind too apparently!

Can’t wait for the day that Steph Curry retires so Kerr no longer has that crutch to lean upon. The sooner that douchbag is out of a job the better.
I couldn't have said it better myself.

Kerr has been getting on my nerves for a while now. He has this habit of inserting himself into situations that have nothing to do with him, coming across as self-righteous and urging others to take the high road—as if breaches of decorum personally offend him. Yet, when the issue concerns his own team, his tone shifts dramatically. Suddenly, it's all about "I can't believe people are airing our dirty laundry. Whatever happened to the bro-code? I never complained when Jordan beat me up in practice!"

Honestly, I too am counting down to the day Steph retires, and people finally see just how terrible Kerr is at his job. This is the same guy who only took over the already-good Warriors team under Mark Jackson and somehow became revered as a visionary despite trading Shaq to the up-tempo Suns and effectively dismantling the entire organization.

But I digress.

Kerr is just trying to get dopamine hits from a different source now that prime Curry/Klay/Green are not there anymore to carry him to wins, him and Popovicn are such virtue signalers it's quiet disgusting to watch two grow men behave in such a manner.

Kerr had a moment when he remembered Christie had that short fight with Rick Fox and thought it would be better to retreat to the locker room. I absolutely love that he sticks up for his players and the players know it.

That was a straight up *** whooping from start to finish.

Really happy for DC. I really hope his success continues.

Monk only had 26pts? That felt like a 40pt game. He was absolutely everywhere and seemed to put the Warriors back on ice about a dozen times.

Carter's first defensive play against Schroder was awesome. Schroder got the ball and thought he had bbq chicken in front of him. Wound up having to pass the ball off after wasting half the shot clock getting all his moves stymied by Carter.

It’s early but I saw him coming in to rest Monk but maybe I missed something.

As for why…. I think like Davion he is good at laterally moving his feet and staying in front of people. He has good court vision and is able to find his teammates when they are open.

His shot is a bit funky, like a Hali push shot, and has a low release point. I think it will hinder him in the NBA as a score first 2 guard. Plus I don’t think he has a score first mentality.
