No bro that's not what brown is saying. Listen if you complete ignore the coaches direction than how can you blame the coach? You can disagree with the method, but if you take it in your own hands then own it. Brown has done this countless times, but if he gives direction as a coach, do it, period
You're right, Brown's not wrong, ABOUT THAT, but the issue is that every game can't be a matchup/strategy mudslide at some point and it almost always is. Especially defensively. It's almost every game too. The Kings shouldn't have to be in that spot this much. What you do in the first couple of minutes of a game usually dictates the tone. Give up open 3's and get ready, hands in faces don't seem to make much difference. What you do with a lead in that last half of the 4th or first few minutes of it are the same. If you let teams exploit you, get in a rhythm and get confidence good luck shutting that off. It might be a bad foul here, a turnover there, a 4 point play that a way. After 82 games, it's going to catch up to you at some point. Heck, even after 1 season it can. Brown has adjusted away from the DHO, better than the last guy for sure but once the wheels start falling off they just. No matter who is wrong or right. If this is a Fox and Brown issue, yeah, pick one if salvageable.

Whether you blame LeBron or Rich Paul and Klutch, there's no way around the fact that "The Decision" was a watershed moment that broke the already delicate nature of player/fan/team relationships in the NBA. I don't really care too much until it affects my team and right now we have a guy that Rich Paul has gotten in the ear of about how they are being held back in Sac and piloting an escape plan.

I would rather get the best of it before they get the best of us.

Brown knows he has a offensive team. Why would he tell the team to not lock in on there strength. Isn't that what people around here have been asking for?
Because giving up 37 points in any 4th quarter is likely going to catch you an L. Brown has defensive tools at his disposal and they did work tonight. That Keon, Len, and Keegan combo locked it down for stretches. We'll see if he likes Carter because Cavs fans did say Brown has his "favorites". Maybe Keon isn't one of them. Maybe the Kings still lose, but it was worth a shot and the train was coming, Brown didn't even attempt to move out of the way.

I own a company. I have a plan, sometimes my plans are not always the best, but if everyone follows the plan we can make it work. But if you don't allow me to implement my plan guess what. Your fired

We have had 2 stars since Chris Webber. Demarcus Cousins and dearron Fox. Neither time have we been able to get a team around them that worked and as it turns out we will lose Fox just like cousins. It’s done deal.
it's not as if Cousins went on to help elevate another franchise after his departure. The same will apply for Fox. A good, 2nd or 3rd option on a team that has a strong foundation and puts up with no nonsense.

Conspiracy time... What if...
Monte is demanding Brown play X to showcase for trade is really Klutch demanding the movement?

I don't think Brown is infallible. His rotations don't make any frickin sense right now. they only make sense in terms of positioning for deals that aren't happening. In fact some of it has probably lead to us taking worse deals than we'd have gotten if we just buried a guy on the bench and took the first call about why he isn't playing and said "sure we can do a pick for him".
I just don’t see monte as the type of guy that would let that happen. More likely is there is overall panic in the organization, lots of voices making their opinions heard and brown is reading the room. If I was going to buy a conspiracy, brown got his bag in the summer, not feeling things anymore, and wouldn’t mind hooking back up with Kerr or Pop as a lead assistant With less pressure. I DONT believe in conspiracies but that seems closer to reality to me.

Welcome to the NBA, where the stars are pretty much the owners. Right, wrong, indifferent. Is what it is. Very few coaches ascend to the level of untouchable. Even the mighty Phil Jackson eventually fell victim to the new NBA.

But they've been giving guys minutes they don't deserve going back to this time last season with the only explanation that they want to move them.

So you'd almost have to believe Brown was already checked out last season?

That's not fair he suffered a career altering injury midway through his first full year with the Pelicans. They were good up until that point.

Best time to try tho is after you have secured a contract and coach of the year wouldn't you say.

Also, he hasn't lost the team, just the star player. Fox has also not amended to the level of untouchable. Goes both ways

Bad rotations seemed to have followed brown around in his career. I feel like he seems to give out minutes partly to ‘teach lessons’ and ’get players attention’ more than most. It seems to come at the expense of a predictable rotation.

So….. got home and watched the coach and Fox commentaries…..hmmmmm glanced over everyone’s frustrations, pointing blame etc. I’m sitting here and I got to say honestly Im going with “Fox is so over us…..”
Sacramento is normally very loyal until they feel you don't want to be here then it gets ugly really quick. We are a very jealous group. Either your with us or your not, we have been hurt too many times

When more people see the still and slow motion of what happened on that last play,....followed by the post game media,....I think it's curtains.

Just unreal gutless

So basically he's holding people accountable? Brown is not the problem man
Holding them accountable for what exactly? There seems to be different standards for different players. If you feel like his rotations are rock solid, good on you. I‘m not in the locker room so you might be entirely right, but there are some head scratching decisions from my perspective.

Agreed. With Klutch in his ear Fox doesn't realize that he'll never again be showered with the kind of attention and indulgence he has had in Sacramento. He will do well, but nothing like he could have now if he would humble up and apply himself.

I have issues with some of coaches player subsitutions. I have an issue with Foxs interview tonight after the game. I have an issue with Fox saying the season is no longer in there hands that we need help from other teams. I think Fox needs to be traded. I also think he is being told by Klutch that he deserves better. Makes me sad something needs to be done soon.
