How did you spend Christmas?

Do you think that Tony Ressler and Landry Fields view Trae Young as "trash"?
No, I also don't think Fox is trash. They are both Allstars quality players. Most would say Fox is somewhat better than tre. Again I want a Wing, I can't stress this enough. But we could do much worse than tre.

Let me make this clearer. I don't think Atlanta would trade tre, but if they did, I would like more than a straight up trade. But I prefer a wing and to let the rookie take the lead

Just watched the last play again. For some unknown reason, Fox was sagging off his man in the corner, when the only thing they couldn't give up was a 3. Instead, he has to rush out there for a contest, leaps in the air and comes down with both hands on the guy....and gives up a 4 pt play.

WTF? Just completely boneheaded. Especially after the coaches just told everyone to stay attached to the 3pt line
And he'll catch the heat. And yet we know the issue is those preceding 6 minutes defensively. And the real issue is that god forbid Fox rolled out the ball and bogged down the offense and the guys didn't run according to Brown. smh. Hopefully we see an apology from Fox and acknowledgement of guilt from Brown tomorrow, haha.

LeBron. Is reading comprehension that hard?
Nothing wrong with my reading comprehension, it just seemed like such a dumb question that I figured that you couldn't possibly be asking me what the question appeared to be asking at face value. Do you ever read any posts on this forum outside of Kings Rap? I'm pretty sure that, if you did, you wouldn't have to ask me whether I'm a fan of LeBron or not.

Our aweful losing streak, coinciding with the clutch news/discussion with monte and deaaron’s comments on Green’s podcast have all coincided to seemingly destroy this relationship in the matter of a couple weeks. Maybe I was just naive when I brushed away fox not extending over the summer. Maybe this has been building since the team stalled out last year.
It really does feel like Fox is running uphill playing here. He doesn't get a good whistle from the officials. It's bullsh.. If he got to the line at the same rate most guys who are as active as he is do he'd be in the ASG every year, post season awards, and would have locked in the super max extension already.

So I get it. At the same point in time, he is a guy who can disappear for quarters at a time and doesn't play with the consistency of his peers. Some of this is a chicken/egg thing but taken on merit he deserves the veterans max with the extra year and bump that re-signing with your club gives and he should be happy with that. If he also wants a change of scenery that is fine but because he has decided to make A about B he is dissolving a lot of goodwill that I have about him.

Mike Brown doesn't walk on water, but he is a solid, experienced NBA head coach who's come up under all the right mentors. If there's toxicity from any individual in the locker room then the right move is to cut out the cancer, not destabilize everything by firing the coach. I heard the press conference, Mike is right.
Well IF that's what's going on then yeah, pick one or the other unless the coach has lost the team. We've seen it a million times as Kings fans. We can smell it. It's heading that way guys. It always does. Brown has been around the horn, and around the horn, and around the horn. Even he wears out his welcome like any other coach.

I don't do devil's Advocate. I'm just not swayed by your argument.
You like arguments. So explain to me how any of the greats (Magic, Bird, DrJ, MJ, Kobe) literally CHOSE to bounce from team to team to pursue all these different opportunities for a ring. Without being traded without their wishes. LeBron literally chose to just be a literal basketball whore and you are defending him as if that is something special. Kudos dude. You have done a full 360

I think Mike Brown is the least of our problem, the only complain I have is the handling of Keon.

No bro that's not what brown is saying. Listen if you complete ignore the coaches direction than how can you blame the coach? You can disagree with the method, but if you take it in your own hands then own it. Brown has done this countless times, but if he gives direction as a coach, do it, period

I generally agree, but my only hesitation is Brown does have a bit of a history. Still peculiar that he got run out of the Lakers position so fast. There was talk that his experience with Kerr gave him a new perspective and approach, but I just wonder if he’s reverted back to whatever he was in the past that seemed to result in him wearing out his welcome. I absolutely do not believe firing brown will save the season, but I’m not convinced he’s a great coach anymore just because he brought competency and stability to the team two years ago.

But that is the problem because it's representative of a bigger issue. Tonight Brown literally said the offense bogged down in the 4th. That shouldn't have even been on his mind if he was actually watching the same game we were. Guess what, the defensive coach might not be who we thought he was. Unless someone else is directing his teams identity.

He lost his head. His head is not in the game, because he's allowed distraction to enter into the equation, when the team has been preaching attention to detail being the difference. Inexcusable

No, you've been plenty clear. What I have perhaps not made clear is that I do not feel the need to view any potential trade through the prism of what's best for the Kings. That's why I keep asking you what's in that trade for the Hawks?

Was out having a nice dinner with the family, checked the score at the end of the 3rd and saw we were up 15. I got the notification we lost by a point and wasn’t even mad. If me being disinterested even after dumping $$$ on tickets this year, I can’t even imagine what the average casual fan is thinking. This can’t be good for business and will drive Vivek to make some quick decisions, hopefully well thought out ones.

I’m not going to harp about how I’ve been right about Fox for the last few years. But what I will say it was always very telling when Brown would keep proclaiming in the postgames about Fox’s elite talent, but he just needed to act like an alpha on the court. I always took this as him truly stepping up as a leader. He has never taken that step and is what differentiates him from SGA, Luka, Brunson. Just don’t see it in him and it’s why he’ll need someone to pull him along if he ever goes deep in the playoffs

Brown knows he has a offensive team. Why would he tell the team to not lock in on there strength. Isn't that what people around here have been asking for?

Conspiracy time... What if...
Monte is demanding Brown play X to showcase for trade is really Klutch demanding the movement?

I don't think Brown is infallible. His rotations don't make any frickin sense right now. they only make sense in terms of positioning for deals that aren't happening. In fact some of it has probably lead to us taking worse deals than we'd have gotten if we just buried a guy on the bench and took the first call about why he isn't playing and said "sure we can do a pick for him".

Johnson, Erving, Bird and Jordan played in an era that had different free agency rules. We can't know what they would have done in this era, because there's no counterfactual. And are we going to be completely ahistorical with Kobe Bryant and pretend like the only reason why he didn't leave in 2007 is because the lakers gave in to his demands?

LeBron the only person of the "Greats" who literally whored himself out, choosing to just jump from team to team, all green grassed and crap. Even Dirk was loyal and stayed to make his name solid. LeBron is a *****. And so is anyone who acts like he is among the greatest of the great. He's an NBA whore.
Lebron is also a billionaire and top great of the game. Let's let get off track. We can talk about how bad he is for the game, but right now I need you locked into getting rid of fox for me lol

Their best player just lost the game on a 4pt play, because he lost his head and was out of position on defense and did the one thing you can't do, which the coaches told them clearly in the timeout directly beforehand.

Lack of defense lost this game.....and many others as well
