We are a bad team, that little streak when we beat the bottom 3 teams were fool’s gold.
I know it feels that way but it’s hard to be a bad team with 3 all stars. The advanced metrics have us as a 16 or 17 win team. 11th best net rating in the league. At the very least we should be 8th right now. But we have 9 games we lost by less than 5. Can’t close games out.

Yeah, this has no look of the teams we've seen in the past in regards to the bad ones. This is a battle of top talent. You either eat or be eaten.

Seeing Wolves and Warrior fans also in collective mourning makes this a bit easier. Just gonna ignore our own pain for now and say - we WILL beat the Lakers the next two times we play em.

I don't think a trade could solve things up especially if the core remains the same. The team is not consisent, keeps losing making a ton of mistakes (I don't mean turnovers) repeating them in the next loss, then due to other reasons, never seem to be learning by their mistakes, and it goes over and over and over again.
This Lakers team is bad, awful, we complain that we don't have depth, have you seen the Lakers depth perhaps?
Have you seen the Clippers (sans Kawhi) roster? And their position on the standings with "washed" Harden as the main offensive weapon?
I wrote it again, the team needs an "electoshock" to shake them, something really big to happen so everybody should be aware that nobody is safe. Players, coaches... executives, every single one of them should be worrying for their job.
And I can't see MB like the chill guy over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again... the team plays bad and he still stands there taking his hands of his pockets just to take that plastic cup he spits inside, I would vomit in that cup watching how we play most of the times.

I do think that getting in two gritty players to energize this squad could turn the season around. The team I like to point to is Houston

Fox > Fred
Monk > Green
Deebo > Brooks
Keegan > Jabari
Sabonis > Sengun

Rockets are 18-9

you could quibble over Green/Monk this year but Jalen has been super inconsistent

same with Keegan/jabari. Both have been underwhelming offensively but Keegan is better on defense.

A long winded way of saying we are better than the rockets starting 5 on paper. Sengun and Green are considered poor defenders and yet they are one of the best defensive teams in the league. Our guys don’t get after it like they do AND Houston’s depth line Tari and Amen absolutely demolish the depth guys we have.

If Fox dropping 30-40 pieces (Lillard style) and the Kings dropping games I can see his point. But Fox has NOT been the franchise cornerstone he apparently thinks he is. I would argue Domas is more valuable to the team than Fox. Maybe dude needs some soul searching. Idk. But if Fox was who he thinks he is they would have a better record. When Jamal Murray beats Fox the way it went down, there are questions that are valid. If he thinks he is what he is, why didn't he get the ball and win the game to start

Yeah, the Kings even with DDR aren't above everyone in terms of talent so this is going to be a dog fight. We knew this going in. This comes down to who can make big plays at the end, or what team can D up consistently. Hopefully the Kings can get a run going here soon.

According to some, Brown spent his last bullet when he went with Monk in the starting lineup. Apparently, he "can't" change the starters now, because Monk has put up some numbers and is paid a lot
Put m ISO Derozan on the bench atleast Monk provides spacing and playing making in the perimeter. Derozan does non of that and is a worse defender than monk

Fox is placing pressure on the team to put a winner on the court in order for him to resign. But at the same time, he kinda playing like a *****. Can't have it both ways.
"Empty stats" used to mean something specific. And it didn't have anything to do with what either of you two is talking about. Based on the previously universally accepted definition of "empty stats," if Fox's stats are empty, then Sabonis' are, too.

Fox is signed with Klutch I’ve lost any hope with him he’s gonna demand a trade anyways that’s what they do over there

Yeah, it used to the difference between producing in the most crucial parts of the game or not. Fox by no means isn't someone that consistently does that, but tonight? Well, sometimes timing is everything. Fox shined the light, he gets to bathe in it.

I’m not buying that. If the Kings can add a quality frontcourt piece at the deadline, you move Monk back to the bench and still improve the team overall. What needs to stay though regardless is Monk needs to be playing 30+mins and closing games.
