They look a little rougher than they should this far into the season. They might win this game but the worst perimeter defense and the worst 3pt % is not a winning combination.

Joined here late, nice to see a little run.

-Huerter was freaking good that last 6, looks like he's carrying our shooting. 14-5-3-2 in the 1H is damn good
-Fox 5 ast, 0 TO. Very good
-Domas usual stat line
-DDR 4-12 shooting? What's up there?

Dunn’s had some good defensive possessions but most of Demar’s shots have just been easy misses

Not going to give Fox a pass for his sloppiness, but can't help but wonder how much of his 0 assist night on Friday was due to his teammates not being able to throw it in the ocean?
Was posted in the last game thread that Fox's potential assists are still pretty good, dropped by about 1 from the previous season. But literally across the board, the Kings are shooting about 6-8% worse from 3, where Fox does a lot of his playmaking. Add in DDR taking some possessions, pretty well explains the AST numbers.

what baffles me - all team has only 4 personal fouls...that's no defense sign.
Sabonis had 10 points in 1st quarter and only 2 in 2nd, means team didnt use him - team instead has opened brick factory and started to throw them in.

They have to realize that maybe working from the inside out on offense is better than outside in. Mostly through pick and and even post play. Hopefully it's still just them finding themselves but like Keegan with that 3, in transition where no defenders are near you? Fine, launch. The issues are still quick shooting off of some of the DHO actions. That's a 50/50 bet when this teams offense with DDR should be much higher yield.

Team was using him. The Suns just started having to shade towards him more which led to a bunch of good open looks for the other guys in the lineup.

Hmm, just 4 FTA combined at the half for two teams which are ranked 7th and 10th in the league in FTA per game. We should see more in the second half but how much more I wonder?

No KD would explain it on the Phoenix side. And we’re allowing a lot of open threes and they’re taking them.

This Sun’s offense is Mike’s wet dream. Touch the paint and spray for threes. Luckily the Suns didn’t hit them at an absurd rate. Things look decent on offense for us too, deebo short on a bunch of his looks.
Pretty amazing that even with a bad 4-12 from DDR, just shooting "bad" from 3 at 31%, we still drop 60 in the half. This offense has all the potential in the world to be elite; we just haven't been able to put everything together.

Mark Jones mentioned that Bill Kennedy is a Phoenix resident, is it a trend to play a host with a referee from the area after that Miami match?
