Davion is allowed to play on the ball in triple threat. This is basically how Gentry played him in that end of season stretch. The other bonus is now that the Kings are playing big, the team might have just leveled up and now Davion isn't a target in mismatches on defense anymore either.
Not that it should come as a surprise given how badly it failed when we were a dogpoo team, but it turns out integrating defensive guys on a (formerly) high octane offense is easier than forcing offensive talent to play D and expect them to play well where they excel.
