This one was taken in Nov. 2023 at the intersection of 28th and U in midtown. My first time seeing the beam in person. So beautiful!

This one was taken in Dec. 2023 at 22nd and J St. in midtown. A bit meh.......hard to get a good shot of it from that location.

I'm starting to seriously wonder what are both the legal and technical limit of the beam? Can we pump this thing up even more??

Right?? I am hoping that some night it will somehow align with the moon. I do also wonder what the technical aspects of it are.

Just hover a drone right over it at significant height with a disco ball underneath. Or tether some kind of balloon with reflectors on it above the beam?

I was thinking of something more exotic like a space elevator, but Captain Degrasse would probably point out that those need to be near the equator, too, and I didn't want to give him the chance to correct someone else on that.

I wish the beam could be high enough to shoot directly through the moon! Now that would be cool.
