I don't think Duarte should be jacking up shots if he keeps missing. His defense is a bit suspect.

Barnes is never going to help the Kings on defense especially on help defense in which the Kings rely on the most. When is the last time you ever see Barnes block shots, taking charges or playing great individual D? His defense is ineffective EVEN if he's right on someone's grill...his short length doesn't bother anybody. The Kings need player that play great on help defense...someone like Draymond that can shoot.

WE can chalk this up as being tired back to back game and hope that Keegan's coming back help. Offense is non-existent when Mitchell run the PG....I just don't think he fit.

Sabonis playing like crap again. Pathetic display tonight by everyone.

Beating the old ass Warriors should not be an excuse on why you don't put your hand up to contest shots
I don’t know why everyone is extremely high on sabonis. He’s a very solid foundational piece but he’s too much of a liability against certain teams. How do you win long term like that?

It's somewhat reassuring that they are shooting a low percentage on quality shots as this may imply we are actually better than our record.

It could also mean we just don't have the legs or collectively are not in the right headspace.

Do they have an equivalent opponent stat?
Opponent 3pt shooting % vs. the Kings:
  • Tightly defended (2-4ft): 43.4% - worst in the league
    • 3.5 3PA
  • Open shots (4-6ft): 36.4% - 7th worst in the league
    • 12.3 3PA
  • Wide open shots (6+ ft): 37% - 9th BEST in the league
    • 17.1 3PA

The Game Thread Dude
The concern is that most of his worst matchups are starting centers in the West (playoffs). Looney, Zubac, Jokic, Nurkic, Adams,
Domas plays really well against Jokic actually. Nurk he's pretty good against as well. Steven Adams might never play a game again plus his team is firmly out of the postseason race at this point. Looney for whatever reason is his kryptonite (although he actually outplayed him last night).

Hall of Famer
We should have sat our veterans this game. Nuggets played without Jokic, Gordon, and Murray against the Clips a few nights ago… and still ended up beating them
Kings may need to start doing that if the next back to back is another dud like this and the New Orleans game. It will probably give them a better chance to win with how the starters have played back to back.

Kings are dragging their feet to everything
