[Game] (Preseason) Kings @ Warriors 7:00pm Pacific, 10:00pm Eastern 10/18/2023 (NBATV)

If Keegan reaches his potential, I think he's going to end up being one of those guys who needs 20 shots to get 20pts.. but in a good way? He's a jump shooter who isn't ever really going to get a high volume of FTs

One thing you can see if you look closely - the Kings just seem overall more comfortable with each other and our unique free flowing style of play. A full season, off season, and another preseason... it all seems to be building. And this is particularly important for our style because it is such a complex offense that really only reaches full bloom if everyone knows it. And it's not just learning a bunch of plays, that's not how our offense works. Our offense itself is a skill the players must learn, collectively. You can see it peaking out.

hopefully not literally 20. but he's got some hot and coldness to him like Malik
Yeah, he's a bit like Barnes after all. Not as crisp in iso but hopefully he develops into someone that doesn't turn himself off like Barnes does. Barnes will be rolling and then just stop shooting. If Keegan can at least get to the line at a Barnes level he won't need 20 shots to get 20 for sure. If he's a jumpshooter, yeah, probably gonna be a bit volume based.
