E-40 asks Kings to investigate his being told when to go by G1C security team

Should certainly be looked into, just not a lot of info about what happened. My first thought is it might be one of those scenarios where the person to “hit back” gets caught and blamed for the altercation not unlike penalties you see in the NFL. Everyone talked about how unprofessional Gobert was but no one cared that Kyle Anderson provoked him and called him expletives

My guess is that when nobody else in the section is standing and a kid behind you can't see they'll ask you to sit. Playoffs are such a strange beast with people paying crazy money for mid seats. But I've been to arenas and stadiums that have designated standing and sitting sections.

I also went to a Seahawks game and sat in a family section that was about as "family" as the time the lady claimed she got a hardcore porn tape in her Little Mermaid rental.

Color me silly that someone would allege “racism” as the only possible reason for consequences suffered. That’s unprecedented.
There was another incident about a confrontation with a sandwich vendor where arena security bias is alleged. I'm not sympathetic to security generally but I'd been noticing a trend for at least 2-3 years before the pandemic with extremely low tolerance for poor conduct before you get the boot.

Not really enough details. E-40 is alleging what he suspects security was thinking and that’s not really a good place to start a fair “investigation”.

I mean, if it was solely security taking the word of one person over the other than maybe I can see it his way, but I would be surprised if one person, or one couple reported that E-40 cursed at them and security just decided to remove him if he was saying that he didn’t do it. It sounds like others heard E-40 cursing her out.

did security hear him cursing at the woman? Did witnesses in ear shot overwhelmingly confirm that E-40 was being an “excessive stander”(is that against the rules?) and became vulgar when called on it?

suspect if I called a woman a ***** at a Kings game I wouldn’t get a warning before I was tossed.

oh well, how about that Kings win?

E-40 is definitely a clown. It’s 2023. You can’t turn around as a big giant dude (of any race) and call a woman a b**ch. YOUR GONNA GET TOSSED! Especially some lady that close to the floor. She’s got money and is probably someone. Then you are gonna accuse one of the most tolerant organizations in the NBA of tossing you because of racial bias? Get the hell outta here………

I'm sure there was tons of security next to the Warriors bench.

My only two cents: The first two rows in that corner floor section by the visitors bench are probably the worst floor seats at GC1 for *watching* the game. Many times players will stand there during the game and you always have the camera people roaming the baseline.

The ushers watch that area pretty closely and they may have been monitoring the situation prior to security getting involved. I thought I saw it mentioned that Steph Curry’s bodyguard was one who got E-40 away to keep it from escalating further.

Honestly, this is only the 2nd conversation I've ever had in my entire life that's solely about E40.

My last conversation about him was with a friend when I asked, "You mean that big guy behind Eminem?"

That was likely 20+ years ago.

So it's safe to bring the kids to the good seats tonight without getting called a B word or being dunked on for only being able to afford second row seats?

I haven't been to a Kings game in years, but I recall a few scary security incidents back when I did, so I do hope that security now takes safety more seriously. The most interesting incident I remember was when two well-dressed elderly men got into a nasty verbal altercation over one thinking the other was blocking his view. One yelled, "F you!!" at the other guy, causing the other guy to jump up and charge at him to hit him. That was immediately stopped by two junior high school aged boys who also jumped up and calmly pulled them apart and politely lectured them about behaving nicely. Of course the men were then sheepish and embarrassed. It was very amusing
