King Keegan

Keegan was hitting off balance 3s the like of I have never seen a rookie do. He hit a rhythm that was something special to see.

This game especially made me miss VF21. A 3pt barrage by Keegan like this in the 3rd would have brought the house down around here if she was still posting.

Imagine VF21 exuberantly rejoicing in rookie Murray's performance and Bricklayer laying in with Domas's dominance in the pivot.

The All Star team we are missing on the board....smh.

So Ordinary That It's Truly Quite Extraordinary

Not sure why it wasn't noted that he's in a tie? Look at the 47 win club. Not bad company with Cheeks, C-Webb and big Z.

Keegan's dad's latest podcast on how he and his wife made sure to never undermine their kids' coaches is another example of him being the Anti-Dadley.
It's also very hard to do. I can't say I have been perfect. As a parent of a future college athlete, there are times I get frustrated, angry, and disappointed in the coaching or decisions coaches have made regarding my son. But, you have to let the process play out, you have to encourage your child to block out the noise, focus on getting better and control what they can. Which is their own effort and attitude.

Pump your kid up, you are literally their biggest fan, but don't inflate their ego by telling them they are something they are not. It's a fine line.

It seems to me that is exactly what Kenyon did for his boys. He believed in them, he helped them, he gave them humility and instilled hard work. You literally could not ask for anything more from a parent.
