This one was stressful down the stretch. The starters were pretty bad, but I think part of that is the Suns are a bad matchup for our starting 5. Primarily because Huerter & Murray can't stop Booker and Ayton affects both Domas and Fox as an interior presence.

But very glad to see the team get the win tonight.
For them to be able to win on the road with a tough matchup like this. I am truly amazed

I think Kessler Edwards value was a little bloated in this matchup too. Without KD, once we could slow down D-Book enough, they naturally would have to rely on the supporting cast to make their shots. They didn't make enough tonight.

When's the last time y'all had a team where the starters can be off, and the bench is like, "Don't worry, guys, we got y'all"?

Yeah, so far Murray is having tough nights against wing teams. This is the 3rd game that Murray has gotten benched against the Suns at some point. His splits against the Hawks, Suns, Wolves, and a few others are pretty telling. Big physical wings are taking him out this year.

That had a playoff feeling.Teams will do everything possible to limit Sabonis and Fox.And Suns did a pretty good job at it.To win a game like that is a statement at least in my mind.I feel much more confident about what's to come after they win games this one

I like that brown was not afraid to do what needs to get done to win a game at this point. There will be other games and better matchups for Keegan to shine

If Kessler can keep making opens 3s.. I think he might take some of Keegan’s minutes. These wings are giving Keegan a lot of trouble, but Book was always going to be a bad matchup for him. He was the better option that Kevin… but even Kevin didn’t play as much tonight.

If the shooters aren't hitting it seems like Brown is ready to make that switch and go with the energy/defense. Good options to have. If your offense is exploding you just stick with Keegan and Kevin. If not, heck, he might even put in Dozier and Kessler at some point.

Brooklyn fans take on Kessler Edwards:
"Take a second and look at his game logs from last year. Kid was a 2nd round pick in his first year in the league and was immediately thrown into a lineup playing with KD and Kyrie. Nash used him a lot toward the end of the year. He played 7 mins in the playoffs for us.

I thought Nash broke him bc that’s a lot for a young kid to handle who needed to learn the ropes. He was scared to shoot but always great defensively. That has changed now that he’s with the Kings. Makes me very happy to see."

yeah my thought of them being a bad match-up and Fox has been playing great but played crap defense tonight. Offered limited resistance on screens all night. Davion came in and made Paul’s night tough.
