This is embarrassing. Getting blown out by the pelicans B team on a back to back.
The mistake most teams have made this year against us is to come into the a game against us fresh and playing all their starters. The simple way to kill us is to have your G-Leaguers go run an ultra marathon, and then stick them right into the starting lineup.

70 point half minus 3/5 of their starting lineup and 3 of their top 4 players on a back to back. Disaster road trip very much in play here

Pathetic huerter and keegan gave us nothing.. and 0 points lol might as well start with both them sitting on the bench at the start of the second half
Id say all the starters, even Domas, can start the second half on the bench. They have collectively not brought it on either end. The bench is trying.

Maybe Lyles should be starting over Murray. Keegan could go to the bench for a few weeks and be part of that mob. Might be good for the rook going forward.
Think we need some caution vs being too reactionist. He was so hot for two plus months, a dip was going to come. He will be fine again in a few games time.

Very little in the way of play calls for either but Murray is shrinking since teams started to hunt him on those dribble hand off sets. Until notice I'm putting part of this on Brown for still not working in any iso sets in the rim area or the middle so he can get to his drop step spin move.

What’s more frustrating is that they didn’t even try to shoot. Just 5 missed attempts (all 3s) between the two. That’s pathetic.

he just won rookie of the month for January. These games suck but not sure we need to totally melt down after a couple losses. I wanted 4-3 on this road trip, if we lose tonight that is still on the table

The starters were out scored 48-13. Pelicans are without 3/5 of their starting lineup lol.
Maybe even 4/5 since I think they start Daniels sometimes

This roster is NOT a Thybulle and Plumlee away from making some noise.
No, not at all but they would help here and there in the interim. If you watched the in between moments with this team all year it was clear that staggering Fox/Domas wasn't or shouldn't be a positive choice and the true lack was in another option to get points outside of their system. Teams are starting to focus in on the system part and we know once the Kings get down, even with Fox it's hard to dig all the way back out. Here's to hoping this game will end up the exception.

I think it is more that his feet aren't set, he's moving more, and he doesn't square up like he used to.

I'm not saying bury the rook on the bench. But maybe just give him bit of a wake up call. Winning rookie of the month is great but the competition is other rookies. Trey Lyles of late has been playing a lot better than Murray. We'll see, it's all up to Coach Brown to see it and adjust accordingly.
