Sound levels are off. They’ve been in a studio the whole trip but this time it sounds canned. Maybe New Orleans just has a quiet arena but it sounds like golf or tennis commentary. They just seem louder
They are a defensive stretch type of team. The starters eventually start nailing things down, but for stretches in games, and depending on games are one of the worst defensive teams we've seen in the last few years TBH. Also, this is a good example of a team whose best defense is a good offense. These offensive stretches without Fox clearly illustrate why this team needs another 18-20 ppg player. Yes backup C and defense are needed but long term, they need that next option to keep up with opponents. Barnes can bring it some nights. Murray others. Lyles once in a blue moon. Monk and TD depend on the night. Every night is needed or you'll probably find yourself in trouble come playoff time. The fact that Brown has to stagger Fox/Domas was already a bad sign considering doing that means you play most of the game at less than full talent capacity.
I know one of the surface it seems the rest are inconsistent, but if you look at how they've been calling kings games all season this is right on the nose.
