It sure feels like teams are scoring about 1.8 PPP off of our live-ball turnovers this year. When was the last time we had a live-ball turnover that DIDN'T result in a layup?
Mitchell isn't going to do much playing off either. This type of space and help strategy actually makes him a bit of a liability at times. It still hurts the soul watching him play off of ball handlers.
Basically Trey Lyles is the only reason this isn’t already over. The fact that none of our main guys look close to having it tonight tells me that this one will be an early call.
I wouldn’t mind being wrong but Kings look like crap in every facet
Monk is so much more athletic than I ever gave him credit for. Why has been been a journeyman his career so far?! You’d think it would be like the Kings did with McBen on the tools alone.
Any thoughts on a trip to the Gleague after the Boston game if he doesn’t come around? I wonder if taking a little pressure off for a 3-4 game stretch would be helpful. Maybe a trip back home to Iowa too.
They're playing badly - and down 13. They may well lose, but I don't get what about 13 down w/6 to go in the first half spells can't-be-done. Especially for a high-octane offense.
