Nunn did what too many guys do. They take it as a challenge to their manhood (or something) and insist on trying to beat Davion one-on-one. Their teammates stop moving, the offense goes completely stagnant - even if they manage to get a score or draw a foul on that possession it's an absolute win for Davion and the Kings if the pattern repeats itself.

Preseason is not a barometer but this guy on twitter rambling on and on about how we are doomed because Keegs and Huerter missed tonight is proof this roster won't be healthy ... this is a different team. Whether it's just as good as the one good year of Joerger or what Malone looked like before Boogie got meningitis or a 50 win team is TBD but this is NOT the average garbage squad we saw under the Maloofs or Walton.

Also Pete Youngman has endorsed the new training staff so again this is not business as usual if Mr. Bitter is saying good things about his area of expertise.

The defensive activity is very telling. Absolutely helps having a healthy Holmes, dudes like KZ/Chima going all out, but it's top down; everyone is going full boar on the defensive end and it's lead to success for most of the preseason. To me, through 4 games, this looks like a team that's buying into what Brown is selling.

preseason is also a good time to continue working on your endurance since defense is demanding if you are playing it throughout the game
